If you ask me personally I would not say this is a cocky move by all means. I love it! IMO this is one of "The Best" tattoo’s any ball player has came up with. Every ball player should have the same mindset to think of obtaining a Championship trophy. So before you be quick to judge him, what do you say to the average joe who has a bball tatted on their body? It is no difference in having a bball or trophy tatted. If he does not win it this year, it should not be removed.

    What are your thoughts?

That’s the goal of every NBA player, to win a title. So who would think this is overboard? I don’t see the point of this forum post honestly.

It’s very relevant to me! I had brought it up to quite a few people earlier & they said it was pointless of him doing so…….My whole thing is it would have been the biggest topic of discussion if LeBron did it first! Bron would have got both negative & positive feedback from it. I would have actually loved it on him, if he came up with it first.

Exactly.. Terry is no LeBron.  A bench player compared to the best NBA player and one of the most complete basketball players of all time is a huge difference.

In my opinion, it was pointless of him putting the trophy.  If he did it after he won a ring, it’d be a lot nicer, but he hasn’t earned the tattoo at all.

Jason Terry could start for numerous teams……He poses more of a threat as a bench player so that’s what he is defined as now just like Crawford.

In terms of championship teams, I don’t think he can start anywhere.  Actually, as far as playoff teams, he won’t start anywhere.  I honestly think he would only start for about 5-7 teams in this league, and those teams are bottomfeeders like Toronto, TWolves, and the Nets.

You really are underestimating Terry. So how many teams can Crawford start for since Terry gets bottomfeeders?

If Bibby were not starting for the Heat how many teams could he start for? Terry is a better player than Bibby & will last longer. Bibby ’98 class Terry ’99 class.

Crawford has size and is a much better scorer than Terry.  His ball handling ability is above average and so is his slashing ability.  Whereas Terry is too small, a liability on defense, and is nothing but a shooter.

Terry wouldn’t start over Chalmers.  I have no idea how Bibby is starting over Chalmers.

Funny since the Jet was actually the starting point guard for the Dallas Mavericks team that went to the championship in 06.

    Cleveland without question.

LAC he would most certainly start over Mo Williams as he’s a more skilled pg and a better shooter.

LAL are you seriously gonna acta as if Derek Fisher,Shannon Brown or Steve Bake would start over him?

MIA would start him over Chalmers or Bibby in a heartbeat. Bibby is a les athletic player, and chalmers can’t consistently hit his open jumpers.

Orl would start him in a heartbeat over Jameer as they’re basically the same damn player except the Jet is bigger.

Portland would love to start him if Roy can regain his all-star form.

Sactown would play him beautifully beside of Reke.

SAS would start him if he were there in place of Parker.

As would OKC in place of Russy. Point is, you can replace him with any of these starting pg’s save for the ELITE (Rose,Rondo,Westbrook,Deron,CP3,and Nash) and the team isn’t going to do that much worse. Just because a team already has either a young developing point (Jennings,Holiday,Lawson,Felton) or a guy who is putting numbers up on their team and is established(Billups,Parker,Miller,Nelson) doesn’t mean that Terry isn’t starting quality on those other teams. He’s just best served as a sparkplug scorer off the bench beside of Kidd. What are you gonna do, tell Kidd to go off ball and let Terry run the show, no you use your players the best way for them to play together as a team and the best way they can help the team. you really need to go back and watch some videos of Terry before these past two years.

Did you really just say Terry is a more skilled PG than Williams?  You’re out of your mind.

Miami would not start him over Chalmers.

Jameer and Terry aren’t the same player, Jameer is a much better slasher and passer than Terry.

Portland would start him?  Even over Wesley Matthews who is playing at such a high level? I think not.

And if you honestly think the Spurs and Thunder would start him over Tony Parker and Russell Westbrook.. there is no point in debating with you for the simple fact that you don’t know your basketball.  Those are two all-stars while Terry doesn’t have a single accolade to his name, except a 6th man award.

I don’t even know why I replied to your ignorance.  And again, you pointed out teams that he would start for and I said 5-8.. you pretty much restated my point.
