MagikKnickParticipantDid you see his state line? great game by Kidd, i think its first triple double of the season, but it was a hell of a triple double19pts, 17 assist, 16 rebounds, by your point guard…Can the Mavs legitimately go to the NBA finals? Are they REAL contenders? Or is site the Lake Show till the end?

llperezdirk also had 37 points. They look real good right now and yes they are a legit contender. Terry provides instant offense and you know dirk is there every night. Caron is better then howard and Haywood is bettter then damp. They have a very good team. With that said, the lakers are still the favorites

marcusfizer21ParticipantYeahhhhhh… That’s what I was talking about… That’s what I’ve been waiting for Kidd since he came to Dallas… Ever since he came back to Dallas he has had only 3 triple double games… I also hate it when he’s just a rebound, an assist or even a point(!) shy for making a triple double… Tonight was a good game for J-Kidd…

whyyouhatingParticipantI think the Mavs once they completley gell are the second best team in the west over Denver.
Now because of a certain Kobe Bryant in LA I can’t see them taking La in 7.
The guy that realy make the diference is Hayward. Give kid a good big man that plays down low makes them look better and they make him play better.0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/26/2010 - 5:25pm #260727

JNixonParticipantDirk, Jason Terry, little Barea, Haywood, and especially Kidd were pretty lights out this game. And Shawn Marion did his thing running the floor. They had a great game, even though the Hawks let the game slip out of their hands

the_truth34Participantthe last person to have a triple double with atleast 15 points rebound and assists was jason kidd
(April 27, 2007 in game three against the Toronto Raptors. He recorded 16 points on 50% field goal shooting, a playoff career high 19 assists, 16 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block, as the Nets defeated the Raptors 102–89) found this on wikipedia0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/26/2010 - 7:21pm #260758

joecheck88Participantthanks detroitbadboy. and i heard on nbatv that jason kidd was the last one to do it in the regular season in 1996. my point being it is very rare and nobody in recent memory except j kidd has done this. not lebron mj kobe but jason kidd. i love magic and john stockton but j kidd is a one of a kind player and im proud to say i got to see him play and is in the class of stockton and magic. i think we need to appreciate the players we are watching perform. lebron kobe j kidd dwayne wade melo these guys are great players and we dont look at them the same as mj nique ewing barkley and others because those guys are retired and have established greatness. basketball right now is at a level i havent seen in my basketball following. since about 2000.
