 The month of January has been somewhat of a jackpot for getting buckets in the NBA. This month, a player has scored 40+ 9 times ( 4 of those times belonging to Kevin Durant). Add tonight’s perfomance’s from Camelo Anthony and Marcus Thorton and that’s 11 for the month.

This has to be one of the best scoring months ever.  

I can’t think of a better month in the NBA for 40+ point games.  Maybe sometime in the 90’s during Jordan’s prime?  Let me check the Lycos and/or WebCrawler.

Steph Curry has also had a great month, even though he didn’t hit the 40+ mark.
