ChrispyParticipantAm I the only one who sees Tom Chambers and Chris Bosh all over this guy? I don’t think he will be as successful as those two, but he can be a really nice big 3 or face up 4 in the league.

butidonthavemoneyI’m a big fan of Jan Vesely, but I don’t like the Bosh comparison.
He does play a bit like Chambers though.

kobyzParticipanti see at best a bigger Tayshaun Prince!

sheltwon3ParticipantAfter watching Bargnani go off for 41 Jan Vesely may get a lot of love in a draft that may wind up weak.

ChrispyParticipantI use the bosh comparison in terms of the mobility a his size, definitely not in playing style.

IndianaBasketballParticipantBoth Tom Chambers and Chris Bosh are just bad comparisons period. Maybe you can compare a little of his athleticism to Chambers, but that’s about it.
That bigger Tayshaun Prince comparison is not bad though. Vesely isn’t the ball handler that Prince is.
And @sheltwon3
Bargnani going off for 41 will have no impact (positive or negative) on Vesely because they aren’t even similar players. Vesley isn’t the offensive player that Bargnani is. He’s more like an athletic and tough combo forward who can defend and finish on the break. He’s not a great shot creater.

European BallerParticipantHe is nothing like Chambers or Bosh. Once again you guys show such an incredible lack of basketball knowledge.

OhCanada-ParticipantHow is he like Prince. Aside from being atheltic and finishing in the open court on layups and dunks I dont see how they are similar. Prince is a lockdown defender, who hits open jumpers and finishes on the break.

iguapops420ParticipantVesely is a mix between AK-47/Blake Griffin/JoshSmith. Really needs to do a better job of getting boards. With that kind of leaping ability, there is no reason to only avg 3 rbs. He should be attacking the offensive glass harder, and should come away with a fairly large amount of out of position rebounds. ll in all I’m a BIG fan. Their is some nice potential there. Needs to develop his body better.

iguapops420ParticipantWatch him in Europe. All he does is Dunk, and tries to dunk on everybody. It’s not just dunks in motion, the guy even dunks in traffic. Thats where I see the Blake Comparison. His build and overall game are nothing alike though.

lalailaParticipant17/7 in the last game and one three pointer, so it’s not all just about dunks

Raef LaFrentzParticipantAK47 mixed with some Prince seems pretty accurate.
Vesely needs to improve his ball-handling if he wants to dunk on anyone in the NBA though. He’s a long and he’s a good athlete, which is pretty rare out of a European prospect. Definitely a combo forward in the League.

iguapops420ParticipantI never said dunks were all it was about. I said that the dunks/aggressiveness on dunks were the parts of his game that I compared to Blake. His overall game though is more comparable to an AK, J.Smoove, or a more athletic Jonas Jerebko. He is a terrific athlete for his size. I wouldn’t say he has to work on his ball handling to be dunking on anyone, ask Trevor Ariza. It’s not like Jan is going to be a player who has the ball in his hands a lot. He’s just a good hustle guy who can change the game with his highlight reel dunks, and d up on the perimeter thanks to his length, and could potentially defend down low due to his great vertical/timing/length. A young Kirilenko with standout athleticism is the closest thing I’ve seen so far.

iguapops420ParticipantNot sure I see really any resemblance in the two.By far more aggressive. Tskiti was just horrible. He reminded me more of Yi Jianlian.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantI want to be like Kevin Garnett," says Tskitishvili. "I want to run the floor, block shots, and play his type of game. We are both good passers. I think my shooting is a little better, but I know I need more experience. I think going to the NBA will help me make my game better."
"He’s got the body and athleticism of Garnett, but he’s got the perimeter game of Bryant," said one NBA general manager. "He’s a big question mark only because you’re never sure, when you draft them so young, how well the kid will adapt to the NBA type of game. But someone took a risk on Kwame and Tyson (Chandler) and someone will take a chance on this kid. No one wants to miss out on the next Gasol."
I just wanted to post that lol

iguapops420ParticipantYeeh, remember the hype on Tskiti. He seriously must just not have been an NBA player. Because he found himself on the Warriors and Suns, two teams that were built for guy who could run/jump/shoot. He just couldn’t get it together.
