PulseGlazerParticipantHe’s the biggest boom or bust pick in the draft. Kanter will stick for years, at worst, like Darko has. Biyombo is young and raw and will stick to due to his D. Vesley can be a superstar or just dissapear in a puff of smoke. He, frighteningly, reminds me a bit of a bigger Joe Alexander.

PHILA9ParticipantJan Vesely is bigger than Joe Alexander cause hes so much longer and can cover so much space with two steps going to the basket.
A lot of potential..

TallmanNYCParticipantHow can this guy remind you of Joe Alexander? JA had an entire college offense that ran through the guy. He had to score 20 a game or his team didn’t stand a chance. Vesley seems much much less developed as a player. Vesley seems to just run around and dunk on a bunch of Euros. Sure he is athletic. Very athletic by Euro standards, slightly above average by NBA standards. Couple that with no post moves, no mid range game, no dribbling, no passing, and not much defense and I really don’t see what the excitement is. Seems like he doesn’t do anything more than the two Plumlee brothers at Duke. No one ever talks about those guys going with the 4th pick.

HobbyOGParticipantDepends on what type of system he plays in..He needs to play in a run and gun offense. If he playing in a half court offesne this guy will disapear like David Blane..

thparadoxParticipantHe looks really good here, he gets some work in the post here, I think there’s a pretty good dropstep move:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbFCA3lb09s
Another good one. It shows how he moves around the floor. He has pretty good concepts of spacing, timing, where the ball is going, etc. For some reason he keeps dropping the ball… that’s a pretty big concern.
