4 minutes left he has 50 and 8 threes. Most valuable beard! Hes playing great and it looks like the Knicks are gonna lose another close one. Oh yah also had 15 rebounds and 15 assists. Ridiculous.

Unreal 53pts/17asts/16rebs.  Houston is so explosive on offense this year.  According to ESPN he’s the first player to have at least 50/15/15.

Still a joke that he didn’t make an All-NBA team last year. If he keeps this up and the team stays in that 2-3 seed range, he’s going to be hard to vote against come MVP ballot time.

He’s having a great offensive season. But he can’t be MVP. You have to play some level defense. If he were just average, I’d give it to him. But he’s not even close. You wouldn’t give MVP to someone who was just the best defensive player. Dennis Rodman never got MVP. Why would you give to the best offensive player when he plays no D?

He is having a great year and the offense is geared to him perfectly. But in all seriousness, did anyone watch that game or just look at the box score? That was like the Rookie vs Soph game at All Star weekend. There was zero defence played and Houston threw up 55 threes… 55! Harden played well, but that was the most over inflated stat line Ive ever seen. At least 8 of those rebounds literally just fell to him. His jumper was on, hit 9 threes, but he got fouled on a three point attempt 5 times! No doubt he’s having a great year, as is Russ Westbrook, but both are at a real advantage in being able to fill a box score by the game plans giving them the absolute freedom to do what they want. Id be concerned if I was a Knick fan, Melo played so badly in that game.. he had about 3 FG I think by memory.. he looked gassed every second play.

Amazing game, the D’Antoni system suits James’s game perfectly. I agree he is a legit MVP contender and is carrying his team almost on his own. We have been raving about Westbrook but I’d saty the Thunder on paper has the better supporting cast which makes Houston’s success even more down to James.

Let’s forget about MVP talk, can we say Coach Of The Year?

D’antoni is one of the best regular season coaches of all times. He is a mastermind. He’ll make any point guard shine, wasn’t D’antoni with the knicks when Linsanity happened??? He is the coach of the year to me.
