Earlier this month, he was in the conversation with John Wall and Evan Turner as the best guards in the nation.. What do you guys think of him now.. ESPN First Take named him the 1st Overall pick which isn’t going to happen.. I’ve heard that he might go in the top 10 or even top 5… Then again, I’ve read on other sites that he might go as low as early 2nd round.. Your thoughts?

I think he could go anywhere from 10-20

Are you serious? ESPN First take said that?

He’s probably a late lotto pick. He should be gone be the late teens.

They didn’t say “HE’S GOING TO BE A FIRST PICK” exactly, they said he has the potential with a good tourney showing to move up and maybe be a 1st pick.

I think he’s going to be a solid player.. A bench player on a playoff team or a starter on a mediocre team. He’s not gunna be in and out of the league though, he’ll stick around.

Yeah if he takes them to a Final 4 and Wall, Turner, Cousins, Favors and Johnson explode

Yea, OK State has to go to the title game for him to be a top 5 player even. He’s going to be a solid starter though. He’s a good shooter and defender.

I tend to like him though, he’s a strong SG and he’s 6’6″ so he’s a good size.. I see him in the teens and if he drops to the late 1st or early 2nd, he’s a steal..

I think he’s a good fit on the Rockets…get a guard who has a knack for scoring and plays defense and ship Martin somewhere else

I hope he goes to the Rockets, I’m a rockets fan.. I don’t think they really need him because we got Chase Budinger and he’s shown to be a pretty good pick.. If only Xavier Henry could drop to us in that 15 spot… I can only hope.

If those are true, that might still be good.

He had a bad tourney games last year and still got picked high.
He will be a late lotto def 1st round… this years guards are week and he is still a top 5 shooting guard coming out maybe the 3rd best.

    This years guards are weak??

Let me show you some guards on my mock draft..
    John Wall (1st)
    Evan Turner (2nd)
    Xavier Henry Mid-1st
    Damion Jones Mid-1st
    James Anderson Mid-1st
    Willie Warren Mid to Late-1st
    Quincy Pondexter Late-2nd
    Elliot Williams Late-2nd
    Avery Bradley Late-2nd
    Kalin Lucas Late-2nd
    Sherron Collins Early-2nd
    Trevor Booker Early-2nd
    Da’Sean Butler Mid-2nd
    Jerome Dyson Mid-2nd
    Greivis Vasquez Mid-2nd
    Manny Harris Late-2nd

If you’re able to select players like Vasquez, Dyson, and Butler in the 2nd round.. That’s ridiculous because any of these 3 guys can be a complete steal.
