While I can’t say I disagree with him being a second round prospect considering his size and largely unproven lead guard skills, I think this kid will make it in the NBA. I cant say he will be a franchise point guard, but I think he could be a very good pro given the oppurtunity. I see flashes of Mo Williams and Jason Terry; maybe not that long term franchise championship point guard, but a very useful scoring point. He is a proven winner and leader and can flat out shoot the ball. Even if a player isnt a pure point guard, when a guy plays as tough and hard as he does and makes good decisions for the most part, that often translates to good leadership at the next level. Love his game.

I hope he makes it. I’ve seen him grow from a low basketball IQ, ball-dominant guy who would shoot you in and out of games and not defend, to an All-American shortlist player over the past 3 years. The way he’s grown up as a player is something that only those in the Big 12 and people that are fans of K-State can appreciate.

With that said, his lack of quickness, athleticism, and his mediocre handle and PG skills will always be a hindrance for him as a prospect. But still, he’s the closest thing to Eddie House since Eddie House himself. Next season and how he performs in SL etc etc will tell alot about Pullen. I don’t doubt him though

Very well put. I agree with you a 100%. There are alot of reasons to count him out but hes the kind of guy that I think someone will have to see play live in a workout to fall in love with. Cant wait to see what he does this year playing more at the point with the weapons on the inerior.
