BobbyqrsParticipantBoth guys have similar size and positional outlook. Parker is considered the better shooter and scorer and Ben Simmons is probably better at the other things and he may be more athletic… Who is the better NBA prospect going forward ?

nick5354ParticipantI think Jabari Parker’s athleticism is vastly underrated, so I am not sure Simmons beats him out but that much. Feel like it is a 50/50 call on athleticism. People who have seen more of Simmons then I have may be in a better position to comment on his hops though.

AdamJCallejaParticipantSuch a great topic, I never realized how similar they were until now. I also agree with you guys on how underrated Jabari’s run/jump athleticism is. Of course he’s not a freak like Lebron and Wiggins but I definitely think he is an elite level athlete. Jabari is definitely a better shooter than Simmons as a senior in high school, but I honestly think he’s just as good as scorer as Jabari. It’s so hard to decide but I’m going to go with Jabari because he’s already somewhat prices that he can produce at a high level in the league.

KingslayerParticipantCan definitely see the similarities between them. I think what will ultimately set them apart is Ben’s great court vision and overall basketball IQ. He can develop into a much more complete player as a result. There’s no doubt Jabari can become a great scorer health permitting, but Simmons has the potential to be great at all aspects of the game. Can’t wait to see him at LSU next year.
