OhCanada-ParticipantJust heard…that sucks. Milwaukee is a playoff team as well.
I wonder how they fill out the rotations. Does this gives Henson some playing time or would they rather bump Dudley and Middleton’s minutes. Also Ilyasova is coming back from an injury soon I believe.
Milwaukee is an exciting team to follow. Best of luck to Jabari get well soon.

machu46ParticipantBased on the way Kidd has coached the team so far, I would expect Ilyasova to step into the starting lineup when he returns. Giannis/Dudley/Middleton will probably get a good chunk of Jabari’s minutes too. Maybe even Johnny O’Bryant will get a chance now that he’s finally healed up from his injury.
I’m sure Henson will pick up a few more minutes, but Kidd seems extremely hesitant to play him at PF unless it’s with Zaza.

fito91ParticipantI’m guessing Middleton will get a solid bump in his minutes. He’s been shooting the ball a lot better as of late after a slow start. Until Henson and Ersan are back Johnny O’Bryant could see some minutes as the Bucks don’t have many healthy big men. Sanders has been getting into early foul trouble and Zaza can’t play 35 min and Gianni’s doesn’t have the strength to play down low yet. Could alSo see us using our small line up a lot

Wavy BagelsParticipantYou beat me to it, but yeah this blows, but I don’t take Jabari as a pessimist. I expect him to come back stronger and with a smarter apporach on the game, especilly since he’ll be sitting next to the coaching staff and will be able to pick their brains a little.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantAmazing how common this injury is becoming today. Are players getting too big and too fast for their own bodies to handle? Regardless, he’s young enough that he should recover and it shouldn’t affect his career long term.

Wavy BagelsParticipantHe tried to do a eurostep in transition and must’ve put too much pressure on his knee.

NJHooper95ParticipantThe young fellow was having a solid rookie campaign, I hate this happened. He had a history of injuries and weight problems in high school, I hope this is just a bump in the road.

JordoParticipantMy reaction was just shock and awe. First randle, parkers out now. Hate to see rookies go down this early.

xJumpManxParticipantHe was still carrying extra weight into the NBA season. That can not help his knees.

livinlegend4blkParticipantJust maybe this might help Jabari career remember when Blake Griffin went down his first year in the preseason he came back stronger and in better shape.it’s not like Jabari plays out of control like Derrick Rose so I think this can be a helpful life changing experience for him and his career

machu46ParticipantYeah… I feel like if anybody can come back from this relatively uneffected, it’s Jabari. The kid has a ton of confidence and just a great head on his shoulders; plus his game doesn’t rely on athleticism very much. This is a huge hit to the Bucks season, but I don’t think it’s a huge hit to what they have growing right now.

XYRYXParticipantParker, Embiid, Gordon, Randle, Smart, Vonleh and even a guy like McGary just played his first game now.
This is insane and the game is killing all the momentum of this draft class. I feel really bad for Jabari and hope he will handle this good mentally and of course physically.
On the other hand this means a lot for Middleton to me who I was watching close coming into this season. He started strong but lost his touch a little bit over the last 3 weeks. After his buzzer beater I think he should have more confidence now and expect good numbers from him going forward. Chris is one of the least talked players imo and could be very special with his long range game.
Get well draft class 🙁
Is this game to fast nowadays like dazzling dunks said or is this just bad luck?

machu46Participant"He started strong but lost his touch a little bit over the last 3 weeks."
What? Middleton has shot the ball just abolutely horribly up until the last few weeks when he’s suddenly gotten his shot back.
Honestly, I’m not sure this will be that big of an opportunity for him or Ersan (who I expect will take the starting spot once he’s healthy). Jabari wasn’t really a high usage kinda guy up to this point, so him being out really doesn’t free up all that much for his replacements unless the offense begins to be run for them more than it was for Jabari.

ExumInfernoParticipantThis would open up the Rookie of the Year race. KJ or Mirotic if they get more minutes could win.
Wiggins is leading right now, but Parker was shooting a much better percentage and was probably ahead before his injury.
