ropeParticipantI am a 50 year old man and have seen just about everything in my life. I don’t know the kid and never followed Baylor basketball, but I have to admit that I tear up every time I read the Isaiah Austin story.
I hope the kid finds success in another endeavor. He is handling this better than I probably would.
Grade A for Silver and the NBA on this. One of the most emotional moments I have ever seen in a draft.

rileymcshea3ParticipantImagine working your ass to achieve a goal in your life then as soon as you get to it, it’s all taken away. I’ve played with Isaiah at a the 24 hour fitness in my town, and it was pretty impressive seeing a 7 footer cross people up and hitting 3s in there faces. I even got to throw a oop to him, but I heard Silver is going to give him a job affiliated with the NBA after he graduates and hopefully he can make the money and spend time in the NBA like he was supposed to.
