valentinewhen I hit the homepage and see the lottery of this upcoming draft, i am taken aback…Kawhi Leonard top 10? I like Jordan Hamilton and Jimmer but they would not be top 10 in most drafts. And there is a good chance Kyrie isn’t coming out and even a slight chance Enes won’t be either. Tyler Honeycutt? Trey Thompkins?….the talent in this draft looks sad, doesn’t it? The only All-Star potential guys I see are Sullinger and Kyrie….if i can get rid of a 1st round pick for something of value, as a contending team, i do it in a second

SwatLakeCityParticipantI think this draft and the 2009 draft have a lot of similarities (a bunch of role players but no real great star). The only difference is Blake Griffen. Then again Sullinger could become the next Griffen but I doubt it. I’m not quite so sure I would give up my draft pick just to get something of a value even if I am a contending team. Remember when the Wizards did that and ended up with Randy Foye who is now not even on the roster and is thought of as an afterthought with the Clippers. They clearly lost a ton yet they did exactly as you would like to do with this draft. Maybe we should learn from the past.

Mr. 19134ParticipantNah Leonard is a player. He remind me of Iggy in college in so many ways. He leads his team to victories but doing everything and playing monster defense while being a great athlete who can play and guard multiple positions.
But Trey Thompkins stinks and this is the only site that thinks he is a lotto pick. I don’t even think he goes top 20 if he comes out there are a ton of forwards better then him.
This draft isn’t amazing but will be better then people think. Guys will contribute next year that are beign overlooked like Nolan Smith who can be can in and play a Lou Williams role on a team right away.
