Alright…what do we do with this? Could you give us something as to why they are comparable?

Melo could be anything from Brendan Haywood to Andrew Bynum. He will be a pretty valuable player in the NBA though, no matter which career he has. He is big and a defensive and rebounding presence, so at worst he will be a good role-player, but one that would fit best on a team that has a solid core of scorers around him.

You can also wait for Fab Melo to play in college before making any comparison. The guy looks like the physical prototype of an NBA center prospect. That doesn’t mean he is good, just that he fits the mold. Jerome Jordan and B.J. Mullens fit the mold. He could also live up to Boeheim’s suggestion that he could be freshman of the year.

iggy. I was gonna say bynum Orr maybe Haywood with a better jumper(college Haywood, first year poor bynum because he doesn’t have the post moves bynum had but has the post haywood had)

Elden cambell potential is a pretty good one as well but he’s more raw on offense compared to Elden at the same stage according to my older friend

was a decent center, I look for Fab to be more like a Bynum, hopefully without the injuries every year.
