RickyRubio9ParticipantWho do you think will be the best International Player of these when it is all said and done.
I’m only naming the few who can do something special in this league.
Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Manu Ginoboli, Andrea Bargnani, Ricky Rubio, Rudy Fernandez, Nene, Steve Nash, Yao Ming, Andrew Bogut, Luol Deng, or Hedo.
Also, Rank the Top 10. 🙂 There are plenty of internation players and I’m found of their style of play. Just bored, trying to get some new topics.0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/20/2009 - 11:12am #203577

Anton123Participant1. Dirk Nowitzki (already did a lot of special)
2. Steve Nash (the same)
3. Yao Ming (if not for the injuries he would be great)
4. Tony Parker
5. Manu Ginobli
6. Bargnani (I believe he can become a star)
7. Ricky Rubio (if everything will be fine)
8. Hedo (started playing great too late could of been a star)
9. Peja Stojacovic (He’s just great, one of the best pure shooters in the history of NBA)
10. Andrew Bogut (he’s a number one pick, he should step up someday)0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/20/2009 - 11:17am #203583

doubledribblerParticipantI would go ahead and rule out Manu, Andrea, Nene, Bogut, Deng and Hedo as far as which would be the best of all time of the guys you mentioned. I think Manu has been amazing when he’s not injured, but the guy came into the league later and is going to have done less statistically than some of the others when you take into account their whole careers. Bargnani has some similarities of Dirk’s but he will never be close. I like the other guys, but they have not done much and likely won’t.
As of right now I think it would be Dirk. He has been the best player and the unquestioned #1 on his team. The guy that I think has the potential (long term) to be is Rudy. He reminds me of Manu, but I think he’s not going to get as many opportunities in Portland playing behind Roy, even though I think they could play together and be effective. In the end Tony Parker is set up to be in the best position to be considered the best. He already has some rings, an MVP trophy and the guy is just now entering his prime. We may see him put up some crazy numbers as we near the end of the Tim Duncan era and as we see the decline of Ginobli. I think a few rings here or there for a few of these guys could sway the end result.

RickyRubio9ParticipantI think it comes down to Dirk (Best statisctical) Parker (Rings, only getting better) Gasol (One Ring and Stats)
Rubio, Bargnani, and Fernandez (Potential) Nash (2 MVPS)0 - AuthorPosts
