The8thDeadlySinParticipantHow about this…
Lakers get:
Andre Iguadala
Lou Williams76ers get:
Andrew Bynum
Devin Ebanks
2012 first round pick unless it is top 15..That gives the Lakers a "Scottie Pippen" type player to put beside Kobe.. Move Pau to the C position, Lamar to PF, Artest to the 6th man role. Iggy at the 3, Kobe at the 2, Fisher or Williams at the 1…
My Starting Lineup:
PG: Fisher
SG: Kobe
SF: Iggy
PF: Odom
C: Gasol
6th: Williams
7th: Artest
8th: Walton
9th: Bensen from draft..Gives the 76ers a letig big man with Bynum.. Lets Turner start at te SG or SF for the team and Ebanks could be a starter like Trevor Ariza, where he defends the other teams best player and hits open shots..
My Starting Lineup:
PG: Holiday
SG: Turner
SF: Nocioni
PF: Brand
C: Bynum
6th: Young
7th: Ebanks
8th: Meeks
9th: SpeightsBe gentle…

PulseGlazerParticipantBynum reportedly isn’t on the block, and if he is moved, it’ll be for Dwight, not Igodala.

PulseGlazerParticipantInstead of hitting minus, care to explain why I’m wrong?

boxn1ParticipantYou don’t trade big men for wing players.

boshjonesfordParticipant76ers would love that trade…lakers on the other hand not so much

PulseGlazerParticipantIt wasn’t you, it was a general request. I think just being able to hit negative makes the people on this site lazy and stops intelligent debate. I do hit neg, but not unless I also reply to eplain my disagreement.
You can trade bigs for wings, Box, but not 23-year-old bigs you might need for one of the top 3 players in basketball and who center your defense for non-All NBA first or second team bigs. Igo is being tossed around for Monta and Kaman – very good players, but a clear step below Bynum

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantIt is an ok trade, but it leaves a big time hole at the SF for the 76ers.

IndianaBasketballParticipantSize. Size. Size. That’s the Lakers’ biggest advantage.
Plus I think Bynum is going to have a very good season next year. He’ll have an entire summer to rest, strengthen and regain max confidence in his knee. I’m expecting him to make the All-Star team next season.

Scottoant93Participantim guessing your new, dont ever ask why people give you negs, they will just hit you with more negs, i gave you a point btw so dont take this the wrong way. The reason bynum wont be traded for dwight is because hes a injury risk, and by that cheap shot he delivered to berrea in game 4, he is still immature, Lakers would need to give up more pieces including one more good player. This trade is not bad imo, Iggy would be a point foward for them and could help them since he is a good defender, and an allround player, idk if sixers would give lou williams up though

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhy would the Lakers trade Bynum ,unless its for a young superstar to replace an aging Kobe and only if its guys like Dwight,Blake,Wade,Durant or Lebron ?
Big men in the nba are a Dying Breed….
I’ll trade Gasol b4 i let Bynum go…

OhCanada-ParticipantLakers shouldnt trade Bynum, that is not the Laker way. Even if Bynum demands a trade I doubt they move him. They are very good at convinving their unhappy players to stay (and win), Shaq as an exception although to be fair they chose Kobe over Shaq. If anything they will be moving Gasol for a PG and some picks and sliding Odom to the PF position, while possibly drafting an energy PF which this draft has many of.

aamir543ParticipantIts a good idea, unfortuanatly it probably wont happen, but good for both teams. I see this happening only if the Magic refuse to deal Dwight, and i would assume Lou Will start over D Fish. Good ideas.

iguapops420ParticipantNOP!!!. Iggy proved this year what he is. He’s a superstar role player. He’s in the same league as guys like Tony Parker, Lamar Odom, Rip Hamilton(Piston years),and Jason Terry. Guys who are supertalented at certain things and are championship caliber big names, but can’t be main pieces or really even main second options. Iggy, point forward lockdown defender. Very Pippen-esque. IMO, to get Iggy, all it would take would be LO and maybe a pick or player if there is a piece they might like such as Artest,Blake,Shannon, or one of the young duo of Ebanks and Caracter.
