JazzinSLCParticipantThe rumor is they are going to select Wesley Johnson, and look to fill their power forward void in free agency (they might have their eye on signing Jazz forward Carlos Boozer). Golden State is also set to pick Udoh at 6. Detroit seems to like Davis at 7. The Clippers sound like they have a promise with Aminu at 8. Greg Monroe could be headed to Utah at 9. The Wolves would have to decide between Favors and Cousins at 4, with the Kings getting whoever they don’t take. This is all contingent on the rumor that Johnson is going to New Jersey at 3.

llperezinteresting, and it makes sense becasue the nets want to spend money and pf’s are the easiest position to address in free agency. I also heard on chad fords draft buzz that cousis has been outplaying favors in workouts and that favors might drop. I really dont see either minnesota or sacramento having any need for a pf. Thats probably the one position both teams are set at. Favors could be in for a fall on thursday.

stanford hoopsits only one workout where he out played him because thats the only one where they went head to head. doesnt suprise me because cousins is wayyyy more skilled. although i would take cousins over favors anyday of the week i dont put too much stock in one on one workouts.

llperezi saw that he outlayed him head to head and then favors agent said no more head to head. But there was also a report out of minnesota that favors was unimpressive, so it wasnt just one single work out.

its not a suprise( at least not to me) that he didnt look impressive in workouts. hes not really that skilled right now and the impact he will make cant be seen in workouts. they can be seen in five on five. a good rebounder, defender, shot blocker , clean up guy more then likely wont look great in a workout because theres no one to rebound against or block shots etc. workouts pretty much show a players shooting, dribbling, post moves

ChabvisParticipantI will be really really surprised if the Pistons take Davis with Monroe still on the board. I am probably the biggest Davis hater on here, so maybe I am biased, but I will cry if he is picked over Monroe and I would rather have Udoh, Aldrich and Patterson over Davis.
