TRC1991ParticipantSo it has been widely understood that the Clippers should remove center Chris Kaman from the puzzle…however, it has been difficult to find the proper suitor for the big man. I think I may have found a solution:
Clippers biggest needs: Bench offense, Maybe a small forward, Frontcourt depth, Veteran Leadership
Houston needs: A big man, preferably someone with height
My trade idea:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4jz5x8z
Clippers get: Chase Budinger (could provide both bench offense or start at the 3), Jared Jeffries (veteran leadership, depth) and Jordan Hill (size)
Rockets get: Chris Kaman (size, post offense/defense) and Willie Warren (This will free up Terrence Williams to start getting minutes)
What do you guys think?

BigDParticipantI don’t know why Terrence Williams hasn’t been getting minutes at Houston, but maybe he should be in the deal instead of Budinger?

apb540ParticipantDef has a possibility of happening since both sides benefit.

Lotto StudParticipantI actually like this transaction although the Clippers get the better end of the deal. I also think Budinger should not be apart of the package because he is playing so well in Houston. The best part of the deal to me is freeing up Willie Warren from a squad that will not give him any burn, on top of that he will be going home to Texas.
It’s sad TWill is not getting any burn in Houston, I really wish he was still with us in Jersey because I thought he was a big part of our future. Long story short about him I just hope he does not become a journeyman.
By the way +1 from me

Mr. 19134ParticipantThe best deal is still the Clippers and Sixers.
Sixers Get: Chris Kamen, Ryan Gomes
Clippers Get: Andre Iguodola, Spencer Hawes
The deal works perfectly from a salary standpoint and makes perfect sense in every other way. Plus the Sixers taking Gomes frees up about 4 mil of extra money in the offseason

apb540ParticipantI love it. Wouldn’t mind getting back a pick but beggers can’t be choosers

natedogggParticipanti dont mind that houston trade, if the clippers get williams or budginer, along with jordan hill (jefferies for contract reasons) it adds to their young core and potential to grow.
i actuallly like the idea of t will and hill playing for them. both could be quite exciting with their athleticism.
