FastAndFuriousParticipantSuch as:
IndianaBasketball and Hiphopismylife(only 2 I can think of)
I need you guys to answer this question with as much full detail you can give.
Is Jeff and Marquis Teague games the same?
I’ve watched Jeff play at Wake and NBA, and I was able to watch Marquis play damn near every week this year(lol).
With that being said besides the last name on the back of the Jersey, and they look a like somewhat, I would never know they were brothers, they play nothing alike to me.
Even Jeff said: "Everyone tries to compare our games and say we play alike, but I don’t see it"

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey have different styles, but they’re both similar in the fact they’re score first point guards (Marquis more so than Jeff in my opinion) who have trouble managing a team, especially in the half-court.
Marquis is a little taller and more physically mature at the same stage, but I’ve always liked Jeff. He has longer arms and a crazy first step. He’s an explosive and strong athlete. He’ll dunk it on you right in traffic. Marquis is a great athlete, but doesn’t finish like that at the rim. I think Marquis is probably better at breaking defenders down off of the dribble in iso situations.
I also think Jeff’s a better shooter, with more range. He’s always played with an arrogance, confidence or chip if you want to call it that.
It’s fun watching these two train against each other. They show no brotherly love and go at it hard as possible. Jeff won’t give him an inch. Both are really good when it comes to going to their 2nd, 3rd and even 4th moves off of the dribble.

FastAndFuriousParticipantSo who would you say is the better between the two? Lots of people said Marquis at first, but when they saw him on the big stage this year, they all reverted back to Jeff. I’ve always thought Jeff was better, mainly because of the points you brought up he’s more explosive, quicker and has a sick handle and can shoot.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s hard to say. Both players were in different situations. Jeff’s freshman season at Wake didn’t have the type of spotlight and expectations as Marquis’ freshman season with Kentucky. That Wake team was obviously not even close to being as loaded with talent either. Had Marquis been on a less loaded team, who knows what numbers he could’ve put up.

FastAndFuriousParticipantYou probably would know better than me but from the outside looking in, I don’t think Marquis is as good of a scorer Jeff is, well atleast not at the college level, Jeff really tore college up the first half of the 08-09 season, and his use of ball screens, ball fakes, ability to get to the FT line was very impressive and add in that he was shooting 55% from 3pt land at one point makes it hard for me to believe Marquis could have dominated like that.
Now i’m not saying I don’t think Marquis could have killed at another school, because I agree had he went to a school that the offense was revolved around him, I do believe his numbers would have been way higher, but I just don’t think he’s the scorer Jeff is.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d give Jeff the edge as a scorer too just due to the fact he’s a better shooter with more range.
I like them both to be honest. I’ve always liked Jeff though. During a Pike open gym… I think he was probably like a soph, a lot of past players were there. Chris Thomas (Pike Indiana Mr. Basketball, Notre Dame, overseas), Justin Cage (Pike Indiana Mr. Basketball, Xavier, overseas), Jason Gardner (North Central, Indiana Mr. Basketball, Arizona overseas), Courtney Lee (Pike, Western Kentucky, NBA), George Hill (IUPUI, NBA), Robert Vaden (Pike, Indiana/UAB, OKC Thunder, overseas), David Teague (Pike, Purdue, overseas) and David Logan (North Central, U of I, overseas) were in the gym. Teague was giving them the business. They were talking crazy to him and he wasn’t backing down. He was like the best player in the gym.
I knew he was going to have a shot to be in the NBA after the day. I really only saw him get outplayed a few times during high school and they were all by Eric Gordon for the most part. I watched Dominic James (Richmond, Marquette, overseas) eat him up once during AAU. But that’s really about it.
