The Pacers are 14-1, which is good for the best record in the NBA, but a lot of people like to criticize their strength of schedule so far. However, after tonight’s game vs the Wizards, their schedule gets very difficult.

    Dec 1st @ Clippers

    Dec 2nd @ Blazers

    Dec 4th @ Jazz

    Dec 7th @ Spurs

    Dec 8th @ Thunder

    Dec 10th vs Heat

    Dec 13th vs Bobcats

    Dec 16th vs Pistons

    Dec 18th @ Heat

    Dec 20th vs Houston

Now, the Jazz, Bobcats and Pistons should be easy wins, but the rest of the schedule is packed. They’ve got the Blazers on the second night of a back to back after playing the Clippers and then the Thunder on the second night of a back to back after playing the Spurs. They play the Heat twice in less than ten days.

What do you predict the Pacers record will be after these games?

2 of the 4 Heat/Spurs/Thunder games, most likely

    WOW!!

I was looking at their schedule for January & February, and besides the Clippers,Warriors,Portland and maybe the Lakers(if Kobe returns),on paper the rest of their games for those 2 months looks like Cupcake City….

They really have a solid chance to finish the season with the league’s best record…

im guessing they lose 3. @ clippers(think clippers will be up for that game.), @thunder(second game of back to back), and vs heat at home(don’t see them sweeping heat these 2 games and im just guessing heat will try and send a message in the first game although you could switch the two around)

Worst-case: they go 5-5 in that stretch. Best case: 8-2? They’ve got two back-to-backs and two games against the Heat. Anything could happen during that road trip in the West. Going 3-2 would be just fine.

Many good teams would be happy with a 5-5 record in a stretch such as this. I think the Pacers will go 3-2 on the road portion, and 7-3 overall with a road loss @Miami to round out the 10 games.

That b2b @SA @OKC is brutal, but to follow it up with Miami makes it the hardest three game stretch any team has to go through all year.

I think they will get the 1 seed, just because the three peat year it is soooo hard to be a great regular season team. Its gonna be hard for Miami to win a game 7 in Indiana, if thats what it comes to.

Either way, how unwatchable are the 8-9 games Indiana and Miami will play in the first two rounds be? My god the East sucks.
