    who has impressed you in the pre season so far?

    For the Raptors, the team i have watched, im impressed by Sonny Weems, he looks very quick and athletic and makes some smart plays.

    I have not been totally impressed by Derozon tho, he is a 19 year old rookie, but i was expecting more… Havent seen any ultra athletic plays so far and he takes dumb shots. Also when he gets the ball he tries to create for himself all the time and not looking for his team mates… I hope he isnt the new Vince Carter, haha

    ya, for how much of a project Holliday is supposed to be, he is playing very well. Good point guard trying to set up his team mates and a great defender as well.

    Sonny Weems and Demar Derozan are nearly one in the same. Weems is a better shooter though. He doesn’t have legit skills though, he’s basically an athletic spot-up shooter.

    I’ve said it before, Derozan doesn’t have the skill set to play legit minutes. He has a spot-up mid-range game, but how many teams leave guys open to spot up from mid-range? Rarely ever happens. He isn’t going to be a slashing threat despite his athleticism because he is a poor ball-handler as well. I’ve never been a big Derozan guy at all.

    But the guys that have impressed me are: JaVale McGee, Nick Young, Rodrique Beaubois, Anthony Randolph, and Anthony Morrow.

    I’ve been impressed with these players so far:

    Greg Oden
    Jeff Teague
    Chris Douglas-Roberts
    Rodrique Beaubois
    Anthony Morrow
    Sebastian Telfair – He impressed me with his IQ, handle and passing last night versus the Blazers. He’ll be a very good backup behind Baron Davis.
