    I read recently Kicks guard Iman Shumpert released 2 rap songs.  This needs to stop.  It should be in players contract that no rap songs/rap abums should be made.  Has anyone heard these songs?  If it’s anythng like Steve Francis, it would be horrific.  There is enough horrible rap out now to have NBA players rapping.  Maybe Shumpert should be spending his time rehabbing his knee than spending his off-season in the recording studio.

     You act like he isn’t going to rehab or work hard just bc he made a couple songs. Are players not allowed to have free time and hobbies? Dang..

    Iman has been interested in rapping and poetry since hes been in HS, I went to HS with him and if he wasn’t in the gym balling he was jotting down song lyrics or listening to music. Hes passionate about both, why not let him practice both?

    But based on that video linked above, he’s not half bad.  Shumpert > A.I., francis, shaq, artest….
