WizardofOzParticipantDave Telep has been calling him Tyler Hansbrough with a better offensive game, and I think the “better offensive game” thing really does shine through. The range on his jumper, his handle, his skillset, his athleticism – Hansbrough didn’t have any of these. Is it possible that McGary is a rich man’s Psycho T?

WrecklessParticipantMitch has ADHD, which is why he is always active in his games and uses that to his advantage. I like The Tyler Hansbrough comparison.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantInsiders say he has a hard time focusing in class becuz of his disease…But since he enrolled in his current school, his grades has improved..
His people are worried that he might not have the grades to enter a major college…I heard they are looking into him playing overseas for a year…I hope people advise him to do the right thing..

KDThunder35Participantlol I like how you said you joined a month ago and it’s about to be August (the 8th month of the year) and your join date under your avatar says 4/17/2011.
Mitch is very talented. I am extremely impressed at 2 particular things. How well he passes the ball out of double teams and how he finishes with both hands around the rim making it look natural with the left or the right. Great video post. Mitch has a chance to be pretty special.

JNixonParticipantI have ADHD too, and I have to take medicine to focus. My parents thought I wasn’t trying hard enough in class, but it was really that my attention span is bad. I got it diagnosed by a doctor, and got medicine for it. Now I’m fine. Get the man some adderall!

moochieeParticipantHe’s good but keep in mind that a lot of players his age are going into their second year of university. I still will never understand how they allow 19 year olds to be seniors in high school.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI remember when i was in high school..We had a guy that was 21 on our basketball team..At the time he had a 6 year old son that could dribble the ball better than Curly Neal…In fact he was on a few tv shows like Arsenio Hall & The Tonight Show displaying his ball handling tricks..He’s playing overseas now…

tuck243ParticipantI don’t want to seem like I’m hating, but before I make a bold statement like he’s trash. I’m just going to say I want to see more of him. I’m starting to think a lot of the kids in the 2013 mock draft are overrated. They just don’t look like a NBA player to me. Shabazz gets buckets, but its in the form of the street ball play (very physical) he reminds me of a more athletic Lance Stephenson (but Lance was more complete offensively). This kid Mitch is extremely confident, but versus good comp how well does he perform? There’s not enough info on this kid… Adonis Thomas is sooooo trash to me. How many athletic SF busts (with no offensive game) are going to be taken in the 1st round before they get it?
This is why I feel this way, I’m comparing them to current college or young NBA players that I remember back in HS. These guys here don’t seem like they were as complete as Evans, Mayo, Jennings, Beasley, McRoberts etc… at their time in HS. Just this class because the 2014 Mock Draft? Parker and Randle? Monsters…
