RUDEBOY_ParticipantI have to admit i never was a big Tyson Chandler fan ..Becuz he seemed too soft and too nice on the court..I didnt become a fan until last season when his aggressive play was 1 of the key reasons why Dallas won the title…Dirk said he was the team’s MVP…
I’m loving his new attitude..He’s barking back at the refs when he gets called for a foul…He’s giving players hard fouls….Setting vicious picks…Last season Kendrick Perkins refered to Chandler as a dirty player….But i dont see him as being dirty..It looks like he’s being aggressive like a big man should be….

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYou mean the one that’s getting stupid offensive fouls because he’s "mean"?
Honestly, he needs to be smarter. From the foul on Bosh after the rebound that was unnecessary to the offensive foul when he pushed Joel Anthony. That’s two fouls that he could have dodged and he would still be in the game with 3 fouls, not on the bench with 5.

BiggysmallsParticipantTheres a difference between being mean and being aggressive.
People mistake yelling and fist pounding as being passionate and having alot of heart.
I like Chandler alot, and I’m rooting for him, but he didnt play that well today.
Does anybody else notice that he travels almost everytime he gets the ball on a screen and roll?

river09ParticipantI agree with Tongue-out on this one, he needs to stay aggressive but play smarter. He doesn’t help the team out when he’s warming the bench because of foul trouble.. That said the energy he brings to the court is a great model for the rest of the team to build off of.

iguapops420ParticipantChandler was raised in a small town environment. He didn’t move to Compton until he was older(already tall as ish). He said his very first day he was punched in the face and had his wallet stolen. But to say he doesn’t get fired up isn’t true. I remember watching Tyson Chandler in I believe his second to last year with Chitown flip the ref off over a call while he was sitting on the court. Definitely one of the funniest B-Ball moments I can remember.

NYK2010ParticipantChandler not used to losing like they did the 1st 3 games esp. after last years run.
Some of those fouls were bad but it got Mello and Amare to move to the 4 and 5 which helped the offense.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantCompared to the softie 7 footer that he was in Chicago? He was only 19-23 when he was in Chicago, it’s hard to be tough when everyone is 10 years older than you.
