The three names that are being mentioned the most for the Pistons to select have been Meyers Leonard, John Henson, and Tyler Zeller. If you’re the Pistons who would you select? Would it be one of those three or maybe someone else completely?

My guess at the moment is Meyers Leonard.

I’d imagine Henson has the lead over Leonard right now with Zeller being an afterthought. It would be a draft day miracle if Drummond fell to them, but I’d be extatic if it happened. I hope they try to trade up with Sac or GW (if drummond slips past POR) to grab AD.

No way Drummond passes Portland. With that said, do you think dealing the pick and Gordon’s contract for josh Smith and Marvin Williams is a good deal?

It definetly makes them a better team than adding the 9th pick but this team is so far away from competing for a title that they should probably not follow that path. They need to build through the draft and hope to strike gold for a young talent. With Josh Smith they would be able to compete with anybody in the East outside Miami if DRose does not come back full strength next year, but would still get plowed by so many west teams. Also no way Atl does that deal so wouldn’t matter

The last 2 years we got lucky.  Golden state drafted Udoh and that’s how we got Monroe.  last year the kings traded their pick instead of keeping it and drafting Knight.  lets pray Portland or Golden state help us again and let Drummond slip to us.  Imagine his defense with Monroe on offense.  Not only can Monroe score but he’s a good passer that can get Drummond good easy baskets.

Oh and I love josh smith, but I think Monroe is better suited for being a pf.  He can dominate that position if he’s got a solid defender as a center

Personally I’d trade for Joakim Noah with 9th pick. I heard the bulls were shopping either Deng or NOah. He fits the bill with the pistons. I always Noah felt he was pistons material.

If that doesn’t happen i’d take Drummond, if he’s gone i’d take Lamb or Moultrie

Noah is too good for just the 9th pick… and the Piston’s don’t really have anything else to send back unless they give up Stuckey.

Don’t put Noah on a pedestool…let be honest, he can get you a double double on a nightly basis but sending the 9th pick  and maybe bynum, would fit the bill …nothing more nothing less. Theres a few players the bulls can draft to consider to fill the starting C spot like leonard, Zeller or Henson, all which are expected to still be there.

I would take John Henson. He is perfect Fit. Monroe and Henson = great frontcourt for years.

Portland is leaning toward Lillard over Drummond and i can see why hes a great point guard waaay more nba ready and with the 11th pick can take someone like Leonard or Zeller.

You think the pistons could trade up to 7? Then we can get Drummond and maybe even Kidd Gilchrist if he falls.

Did someone actually say trade 9th pick for Josh Smith? There is no way that happens unless Atlanta is trying to completely start over.

The pistons must 1st Admit u botched ya FA signings of Gordan & Chuck V.. U shouldve let Taysuan go and Brandon Knight is not a pg.. Which leaves u w/ Stuckey, Monroe, Daye Bynum & Maxiell. I think the uncertain future of the Franchise is the type of situation Austin Rivers needs but due to the fact that transition will take time I’d take Terrance Ross who can contribute immediately on D
