     Would you do a deal for Howard that looks like this….

    Howard and Turk

         For

    Aldridge, Matthews., Crawford and the 6th pick

    The Magic get back a PF all star and Matthews as a SG ( also one of the better contracts in basketball ) Crawford is a rent a player for a year… And the 6th pick could end up with a player like Lillard/ Drummond/ maybe Barnes. 

    The Blazers would have Howard to team with Batum who’s a very good young SF… Also have money to spend on free agents (Nash Maybe) as well the 11th pick to fill a need.

     Absolutely not because Howard would not sign an extension when its just him and Batum.
