they have the cap room to sign him in 2012, so if they dont have to give anything up that would be awesome, or if they could get him for cheap. I would not like to see them go and give away the entire team and deplete their depth to get him though. With the new stricter cap that is probably coming it will be harder to find good cheap players.

No, it would be nice, but I have a better idea.
Donald Sterling has ruined so many things, its in his team’s best interest that there is a lockout. they would redo the lottery so probably not the two again, but the 8 and another top 3, that with Blake, Gordon, Aminu (Luol Deng 2.0) and Eric Bledsoe and Mo Williams, that team could be a conteder. Andre Drummond and Jeremy Lamb! That to me is more worth the risk than Dwight.

The Dwight Howard to Lakers thing has alot of flaws to it. The only way LA can get Howard right now is a S&T and the Lakers would probably have to offer more then Bynum/Odom.
If I was Dwight Howard, I’m going to Houston or the Clippers honestly.

If I have to include Eric Gordon and the Minnesota pick than no but if i just have to trade one of those assets and I can sign Dwight to an extension before the season then obviously yes. Dwight, Gordon, and Blake for a lot of years is definitely worth giving up the minnesota pick and guys like aminu and bledsoe for.
