if you had the choice on drafting only harrison barnes, jeremey lamb,or bradley beal who would you go for?

im going with bradley beal cuz he reminds me so much of a young eric gordon(not saying that gordon is old but a younger eric gordon)

I take Lamb, and don’t think twice about it. He has good size, and has shown that he can step up when it matters. Alot of you guys seem to forget about that, and declared him "unmotivated" and "lackadaisical" this year because he was on a bummed UConn team. How easily we forget that it was his emergence that helped propel that UConn team to the title.

He is by far the best shooter of the three, has the best dribble, and again is the better defender. I can see the appeal of the other guys, but for me Lamb is just the more complete player.

BY FAR the best shooter??? I’d probably pick him as the worst, but certainly not the best "by far." Lamb has more potential than the others, but doesn’t seem the have the work ethic of Barnes and Beal.  I’ll take Barnes because you know what you’re getting with him. Beal a bit too small for me, doesn’t have the athleticism to compensate ala. Wade, etc.

Lambs long wingspan do tempt me but he dont look like he can put on weight cuz of his shoulders so I guess Ill take Barnes just cuz he is taller then Beal

Did you watch UNC at all this year? When did Barnes show he was a better shooter? Maybe it was because I only watched the Duke games, and the tourny run, where he did absolutly nothing…He is a spot up shooter, and can’t do anything off the dribble. Beal was never the main guy on his team, and still shot worse then Lamb, so where am I wrong to think Lamb is the better shooter?

Of the three Barnes prolly was the "worst shooter" but that doesn’t mean he’s not a good shooter. The best pure shooter of the 3 is probably Beal with Lamb in the middle. Beal has the most potential of the three IMO due to his more complete game and if he was 6’6+ he’d probably be the consensus #2 pick. Barnes and Lamb will be good pros however as a 2nd scoring option each averaging 15-20 ppg if they live up to potential. All three will be good players and if I had to choose it would be based on if I needed a 2 or a 3. If i needed a 2 i’d take Beal and I’d take Barnes if I needed a 3. I’d take Lamb however if I needed help on both positions as he can play both position. Barnes might be able to play both as well but i’m not sure if he can guard the quicker 2 guards yet.

All three are good players who will probably make a very good 2nd option on nba teams, maybe 1st if they can improve on their individual weaknesses.

Depends on the team and system I run but on pure talent I’d say Beal/Barnes then Lamb.

Percentage wise they were all comparable shooters from 3 based on last year , Beal 34% , Barnes 36% , and Lamb 37% this past season.  They all have good strokes and I see them all as around 38-40% 3pt shooters for their careers going forward.

Brad Beal reminds me of Fat Lever with a better jumper , many of you have no idea who Fat Lever was but he was a good do everything combo guard that played for the Nuggets in the 80’s who was an exceptional rebounder for a 6’3-6’4 guard.

Barnes I see Sean Elliot , good shooter who will be a 15-20ppg scorer in his prime , but never more than a 2nd option and prefered as a 3rd option on 50+ win team.

Lamb I see Rip Hamilton with more upside defensively especially , though I question him the most due to lacking intangibles.

I will agree with the other poster who mentioned Terrence Ross who I see as having a higher upside than all the guys mentioned above.  Possibly Michael Finley type with his height , athleticism , and shooting ability.
