SupParticipantIf Ricky goes to the Knicks which is likely now with the Ramon Sessions move, Lebron will be choosing between the Trump and the Tribecca (he’s coming to NY.) Now that boy would’ve went to Brooklyn (All black agents, all black everything), but the Nets took too long. So the Knicks luck out with this one. Rubio, Lebron and Bosh (not Wade.) Knicks vs. Lakers finals to come, let the games begin.
P.S. It is very very hard to win in NY dont be surprised if Lebron goes through his whole career with zero rings. That boy Kobe is 31(prime) and the Lakers have a lil dynasty over there.

QHaynes20I’m so confused…what are you talking about?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 10:17am #209879

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol… You’re silly if you think LeBron cares about 18 year old Ricky Rubio and that that’ll have anything to do with his decision.

SupParticipantOkay buddy…if you think Lebron doesn’t want the International presence a duo like that would create your buggin.
P.S. Then why do you think the Knicks want Rubio so bad (duh!)

FT33ParticipantEven if LeBron and Rubio went to NYK, they would have to wait a year or two for Rubio to come over and if they don’t get a good post player signed, they won’t go that far in the playoffs.

JoeWolf1Mo Williams is better than Ricky Rubio right now. Why would a down grade at point guard entice him to move to New York?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 10:34am #209891
FT33Participantthe reason they want Rubio is because they need a point guard, not because it will attract LeBron.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 10:38am #209894
FT33ParticipantLeBron wants to win a title. He might go if they get the talent and he is the “last piece” to there championship puzzle.

Lemons4LifeParticipantI see……..NOTHING. What kind of crappy thing is this LeBron-Bosh-Rubio. I don’t think so. Right now LeBron’s gonna do what he wants he knows he’s gonna make us wait. I do wanna see him go to NY, but Knicks vs. Lakers or Your 2 favorite teams.

SupParticipantlolz, we talkin’ about money and you talking about Mo’ Williams. Bottom line nobody in the world, who cares about their money respects Cleveland. Simple as that, its not marketable, it’s Cleveland. Lebron “put Akron on the map” His job is done he feels, and he is leaving and name like Rubio would steer him to NY. And endorsments would clearly pay for any type of buyout if that boy (Rubio) is going to NY.

SupParticipantEverything the Knicks are doing right now and have been for the last yr are to entice Lebron (including trying to get Rubio). Get over it.

esperanzafleet69Participantthe knicks want rubio so badly because he would have a CHEAP 4 year contract.. u fool
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 11:01am #209906
SupParticipantCheap 4 year contract, big name, big city big lights, big endorsements…no not foolish at all, not in my book
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 11:19am #209912
FT33ParticipantYou can have all of those things, but if you don’t have the right talent, those big time players won’t come.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 11:29am #209916
SupParticipantRight, but the comparison drawn with young Ricky Rubio is Pistol Pete, hall of famer, that sounds like talent to me
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 11:47am #209919
FT33ParticipantTalented, yes. But will it translate in the NBA, that remains to be seen. I’m not dog him out, but look back at Milicic, Livingston, and Green and how there were compared to legends(except Milicic) and career turned out.

SupParticipantAll Rubio will have to do is spin around, wale his arms and throw it to that truck named Lebron, he’ll be fine out there.

crazyknicksfanParticipantas a pure knick fan, i dont even think he’s gona come or even wants to come. reason being is that rubio is just a rookie with no nba experience at all. plus the state of the knicks roster. the knicks have star players but not superstars which i think lebron also wants on his team. if the knicks fail to improve on their roster or they fail to get a superstar in the free agency i think lebron would not want to come to this team despite playing in msg and the great marketing deals. i think he wants to win now after losing in the finals to the spurs and losing to orlando last year. and its also depending on how the knicks record this year will be.

SupParticipantMoney talks. The Lakers are winning for a long time, might as well just go to the Knicks. If Kobe was hurt Cleveland still couldn’t beat the Lakers, lolz.

llperezI’m predicting LeBron will end up in Milwaukee. Him, Bogut, and Jennings will turn into title contenders.
But seriously, I don’t think Lebron will make a decision based on the teams talent. No matter where he goes, it will be relatiely easy to build a contender around him within 2 years. If he chooses NY, it will be because of the spotlight and wanting to get out of Cleveland.0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 1:36pm #209955
FrankBlackBoilebron james will never ever go to new york just because ricky rubio
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 5:28pm #210035

JoeWolf1I hear all this talk about money and how New York is a big market that Lebron or any other big name would goto, but New York has been at the bottom of the NBA for a number of years, if money was the only thing players cared about why hasn’t New York landed any big name FA’s over the past 5 years? I mean its all about the money, right? So why haven’t the Knicks turned it around then?

L.ShapParticipantWoah, I would really like to see king james in a Kings jersey, that would be amazing. Have they been planning this or something cause it would work perfectly
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/06/2009 - 7:18am #210120
SupParticipantThe knicks are probably the worst run organization in the nba, other than the Clippers, thats why! They dont get good enough free agents because they are horribly run, and they end careers. However with all that said, what puts the knicks waaaaaaay ahead of the clippers is their value. The Garden is the last standing nba arena…The heart of NY, the fans are smarter than anywhere else…Who doesn’t want the title King of NY…also like I said their value, forbes has the knicks ranked as the most valuable team in the nba ahead of the lakers and all their championships. Of course it takes an ambitious person to try and go into NY but all I am saying is a “talent” like Rubio makes it start to look like a feasable plan. There is no way Lebron is going to play there with the circus as it is, he’s just not that good, and he would never catch Kobe. Rubio helps.
