valentinei expect to see pj3 turn into an absolute beast, and it will get a couple GMs heated. if there is a team who will not and should not skip on pj3 is the celts.
that would be like a best case scenario for his long term success as a basketball player. being around all those vets, with arguably the best coach and passer would put him in a perfect situation, with the chances of him busting taking a huge dip.
with that said, he doesnt go all the down to 21.

Lotto StudParticipantI honestly cannot see him not going in the top 10

Professor RozayParticipantI dont think that he will go in the top 10…But he has to go to a team with some vets a good point guard and a really good coach to get this kid ready for NBA play…He would be lucky if he fell to Boston…But that is not going to happen…he is not a player that has the ability right now to help a bad team…Falling in the first round would be a blessing for him…cause he will have a chance to go to a team that has the parts around him to help him out…

fredrock34ParticipantIf there is a coach that can get the best out of him is doc rivers. Look at how much of a headache Big baby was and Doc got him to play at his best when he was here, then he went to Orlando and was suspended a few times and never really played up to his potential struggling all year. In Boston Doc Rivers will make Perry Jones earned his minutes and if KG comes back and metors him he might just reach his potential.

cuseflynn10ParticipantPJIII could go as high as Golden St. at #7, but if he doesn’t go to Golden St. I think he could fall down to the Rockets, 76ers, Mavs, Magic, or Nuggets. One of those teams have to pick him if he’s on the baord. There’s just to much potential to pass up on. I’d find it hard to believe if he was still on the board for the Celtics, but stranger things have happened on draft night.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantIf he falls to 14 Boston should trade up for him. If KG can’t turn this kid into the monster he should be no one can.

TurnipParticipantI can see the Mavs being a better situation than the Celtics. Imagine him backing up both forward spots and learning offense from Dirk and defense from Shawn Marion.
Spurs would be good, too, but falling to 59…. is…. yeah…

benny15Participantit also depends on the player. look at Gerald Green. droped big time in the draft all the way to the celtics and doc rivers. had a few good games but was full of inconsistencies. then was later dealt to the timberwolves in the KG trade as a salary filler, not even as someone the rebuilding twolves coveted.

Stinky34ParticipantIf he falls to the Bucks at 12 I think they will take him… They wont pay Ilyasova what other teams will so Jones would be a perfect replacement…

CodySLCParticipantNo way he slips that far. Its funny, one day people are trying to compare him to K.D. The next were talking about him falling to the late first round.

chocboywndrParticipantI like him in toronto Casey is perfect coach for him. I dont think they will pick him but if you can grab a guy was projected to be number 1 pick at 8 who is finally figuring it out you have the steal of the draft. after reading this article I think he is starting to understand his potential.

rhamnlacsonParticipanti see perry jones as a 7-8 guy but if he does go to boston he would be the no 1 steal in the draft just imagine a top 10 caliber rookie falling down as a late first round pick perry jones and KG would be a good tandem on the frontcourt though

SkywalkerParticipantOnly way BOS gets him is if they trade up

OllstarParticipantIf im Bos there is only one tweener I want back and his name is Green.

Nico4nicolasParticipantThis issue with Perry Jones going to the Celtics is Jeff Green who is supposed to come back. These two players are quite similar but Jeff Green has proven a lot more and Paul Pierce will still be there to start (and finish) the games. To me, Perry Jones and Boston are not a good match.

lilballa141ParticipantWhy do I keep seeing this KG mentoring him? PJ3 is NOT a PF… he’s a SF and as soon as teams realize that and allow him to grow their he will become an absolute monster.. think KD / T-mac (Orlando) with maybe slightly less scoring skills than both of them
