canesboy6ParticipantHey, been off the board for a while traveling (food poisoning in Belguim, spend the money for good meat!)
So if this has been discussed my bad.Where do you guys think John Wall goes in the 2010 draft if he were to not play a second of college basketball? This is strictly a hypothetical, so dont give me the european stuff.
It obviously depends on team needs to a certain extent, but with the luxury of the massive amounts of proven lottery quality big men, and the freak that nobody is really talking about that much Derrick Favors, I think it would be hard to take him number 1. My guess is that Favors, Davis, or MotieJunas, and most likely Favors would leapfrog him.
But I dont care about what I think because im stupid. What do you guys think?

lalailaParticipanti like him to prove or not something, but not just lost his position because of nothing

BlazermannParticipanthe’ll slip but not out the top 3

sheltwon3ParticipantI think if he plays or not it will not affect much if he does great in workouts because most Gm’s would take him out of high school if they could.

The Big Oif he does great in workouts
that gives me an idea 🙂0

JNixonParticipantKentucky contending for the title would go down the drain (even though Eric Bledsoe is a good young PG). I really wanna watch Wall play this year, I think he has a chance to be a great, great player in college and beyond.

shipargosParticipantThe d-league could be a good experience, he will not earn much money, but nba game adjusting.

The Big Othe d-league is the 2nd toughest league in the world, and a BIG step from college practices,
fater pace, veterans who ALREADY played NCAA ballNOT TO MENTION lots of set plays vs isolation/motion offense (NBA)

Rock_Cat78ParticipantLooks like the very most Wall is going to get is having to sit for three games. It would be a real stunner if it was anything more than that.

Rock_Cat78ParticipantJust as I said, much ado about nothing. Missing an exhibition game tonight and then the season opener against Morehead St. next week.

quincey hodgesfirst..dleauge isnt the 2nd tougest leauge in the world..even nba people say europe is(but besides that omeeuropean teams have beaten nba teams as well as punish d leauge all star teams..there isnt one d leauge team that could compete with a nba team)..second that would be dumb on his part to go to the d leauge..he can only drop by playing there…best bet would be to just work onhis game and prepare for the nba draft

The Big Odleauge isnt the 2nd tougest leauge in the world? then how would john wall’s stock drop by playing there? what R U saying??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 10/28/2009 - 2:14pm #224550
quincey hodgesaks some coachesand players if you dont believe me..or better yet look what happens when pthe d leauge sens there best player to play european teams…..or name one team in the d leauge that can beat a nba team?..how come nba team play european team instead of d leauge team..how come highchoolers arent jumping straight to the d leauge but they are going overseas..or how come when players play well in the d leauge they go overeas and dont play half as well 85 percent of the time…do some research and then tell me the d leauge is the second best leauge in the world

The Big Oi was trying to trick u into saying John Wall couldn’t hang and his stock would drop in the d-league TWICE
“second that would be dumb on his part to go to the d leauge..he can only drop by playing there”
u basically said that Wall would be drafted off of high school credentials last year
and said that if he played against proven players (d-leaguer)
his stock would dropU just admitted he’s OVERRATED

quincey hodgeseven though i didnt say that i do agree hes overrrated..:)..
0 - Posted on: Wed, 10/28/2009 - 2:26pm #224559
quincey hodgesand yeah his stock would drop because the d leauge would expose some of his weaknesses that arent really known right now…its always better to come out out of hs if youre expected to be number one..youre stock cant go anywhere but down unless you just dominate..why you think most players come out of college when they are projected to be a high pick..common since

The Big Owow we agree that someone is overrated!
what about OJ “I said I’m the next Deron Williams coming out of college shooting 41%” Mayo?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 10/28/2009 - 2:31pm #224560
quincey hodgesdid you go to nba.com and check his shooting percentage and then check which veteran shooting guards he hoots better then…wont argue with you about players you think are overrrated who coaches and other nba players think is gonna be a very very good player…it would make zero sense seeing as they play against and coach against the kid …that like me telling a astrounaut that its hot in space..lol..youre more then welcome to argue wit omeone else about that though

The Big OI know his weaknesses and STUDY everybody elses that I ever spoke on
John Wall’s weaknesses on nbadraft.net> raw playmaker can’t shoot, sometimes bad decisions,
unstoppable in transitionJohn Wall’s weaknesses according to me> 6’4 Rondo; able to get his shot off at will (athletic) but no jumpshot ala Rondo/Derrick Rose
agree or disagree?
