Simply put what would you consider the ideal draft day for your team…..

Indiana Pacers – Honestly I would like to see us use Al Jefferson partial guaranteed contract($4mil) and 23rd pick to acquire one of Kemba Walker, Tobias Harris or Harrison Barnes. Obviously probably take another non-guaranteed contract (Collison – $2mil Bogdanovic- $1.5mil) going out and another coming back but I’m ok with that.

Dallas Mavericks – Simply hope Mo Bamba is there when they pick, I think he has insane upside. With 33rd pick I love to see Gary Trent slide down for him to be available, a really nice shooter to add to the team.

    Danny Ainge really likes DiVicenzo
I’d love for Boston to trade up for him because it doesn’t seem like he falls down to 27
And to think that he was going to go undrafted a few months ago

Doncic falls to #7, Bulls trade up to get Doncic or MPJ at #7 and Donte or Moe Wagner at #22.

My ideal big board for the Bulls (7,22) this year:

    1. Bamba- doubt he falls to 7 at this point but we were 1 of 4 teams for individual workout

    2. MPJ- we need a high potential scorer on the wing

    3. Carter Jr.- if he’s anything like Horford, Hoiberg’s offense will run much smoother

    -Stay away from Trae Young!!!

At 22 I think we promised Hutchison which I’m alright with, typical 4 year player GarPax goes for, granted not a big school in Boise.

I agree with all of this. I would put Porter #1 and Bamba #2, but that’s splitting hairs as they both are great prospects.

With the 22nd pick I was hoping to take a high risk/high reward player. My early list was 1. Jontay Porter (before he withdrew), 2. Michell Robinson and 3. Simmons. But it looks like we promised a senior, which is classic GarPax.

I was thinking the same, if we came out with MPJ at 7 and Robinson or Simons at 22 I would’ve been all for that. Like you said go after some high risk but very high reward players, and hope to have/sign the right veterans.

Just trade any of Whiteside, JJ, TJ and get some flexibility of some sort.

     In order of preference:

    No.3: Doncic, Bagley, Bamba

    No.19: Huerter, Walker, Divicenzo

    No.30: Okubo, Shamet, Brunson

    No. 33: Okogie, Allen, Alkins

17: (these aren’t sorted in any particular order)

    A) DiVincenzo — Love his game. He plays the game the right way and would provide a much-needed bench punch for the Bucks, who need it. He also has the ability to start and play next to Giannis.

    B) Robert Williams — I’m not in love with the bigman class after the studs Ayton/Bagley/JJJ/Carter, but Williams provides rebounding and shot blocking, which the Bucks need.

    C) Zhaire Smith — He’s a little short for my taste, but he’s lengthy and a crazy athlete. He can help the Bucks’ porous defense and spread the floor. I like his upside.

    D) Josh Okogie — I know that most analyists have him in the late first round (at the very earliest), but I could see Okogie making a meteroic rise come draft time. He’s 6’4" with a 7’0" wingspan and is a crazy athlete (42" vert, top 5 in shuttle run, winner of 3-quarter court sprint at the Combine). He also produced in college (18.2/6.3/2.5/1.8/1.0 on 41.6/38.0/82.1 shooting splits), and averaged 13 points in two games at the Combine. He would provide floor spacing and defense for the Bucks, two big needs. Hopefully, he could eventually win the starting job over Snell, and I believe, with time and the right staff, he could develop into something more than a 3-and-D guard.

I still can’t tell why Okogie isn’t higher. Is there something we don’t know? He is still sooooo young, too. I think he has some serious 2 way potential at the next level, though a team will nee to be patient and work with him. Seriously underappreciated in this draft…

     #9:

1a. Michael Porter Jr. – Amazing talent. Was the concensus #1 pick before his injury last year.  To get such a talent at the 9th pick would be an absolute steal. KP and him would be a very exciting duo going forward. There would be serious injury concerns going forward for both of them, but if they are healthy they would be two of the best young building blocks in the NBA

1b. Trae Young- KP and Trae running the pick and roll. Enough said.

    2. Wendell Carter Jr. – Got to see him play live a few times last year. Love his game and I think the Horford comparison is completely valid. If he had not played with MBIII last year, and would have gotten his numbers, and a chance to be featured in an offense, I think he’d be a lock for a top 5 pick.

    3. Mikal Bridges- Obviously would be a great fit as a 3 and D guy the Knicks have been lacking for years. Not as high on him as the others on this list because he is older and has less upside.

    #36:

    1. Melvin Frazier

    2. Anfernee Simons

    3. Moritz Wagner

    4. Jevon Carter

     #1 draft Ayton

Trade 16 and 31 to move up to 10-12 range to get either SGA, Sexton, or Knox.

If we dont make trade, use 16 to draft one of Divincenzo, Walker, K-Thomas. And use 31 to draft best available pg between Holiday, Brunson, Duval, Okobo. At 59 draft and stash.

My ideal night is at least one PG goes before pick #7.  That way someone has fallen so the Bulls will have a choice.  Many mocks have them taking Carter at #7.  I am OK with that but I want the Bulls to have a choice.  My ideal is at least one but ideally 2 of Young, Sexton or Bridges go top 6.  At 22 I’ll take Hutchison as they need some stability.

Celtics get one of Divicenzo, Okogie or Thomas at pick number 27. I also wouldn’t mind Mitchell Robinson as a lottery ticket pick.

Funny thing about this draft is after about the top 14 players, the next group could be pick 15 or a second round pick. Not much difference in the next 20 plus players. Will make for a fun and interesting draft.

The guys I want are shooting up the draft boards.

I WANTED Mo Bamba and Air Donte aka the Artist Formerly Known as Donte Inferno aka the guy who AT TIMES looks like a cross between Jerry West and David Thompson.

But, NOOOOO, now they are moving up quickly.

    Whatever.

I will post my "big board" in a minute.

Grizzlies draft Porter at 4. Select Simmons at 32. Sign Pinson as undrafted free agent. Dude reminds me of Tony Allen.     Hope the rumored Lakers  promise to Robinson is true and grab him at 27. Cavs pray Lebron stays. Pray Lebron stays! Pray Lebron stays!! Hope Bron can talk CP3 or PG  into asking for a trade to Cleveland. Draft Sexton or use that pick to acquire Kemba. Or trade Tristan to Clippers to acquire their 2 picks and trade it to Kings for 2nd pick and select Bagley. Hey won’t happen, but a guy can dream . lol.

The Wizards need to use this draft to find a long-term replacement for Gortat and to add backcourt depth. Ironically, before the early entry withdrawal deadline, I wanted my Wizards taking Jontay Porter at 15 and Caleb Martin at 44, but both pulled out of the draft lol. I still maintain they should take the best available big man at 15 and a versatile guard/wing at 44. Their targets at 15 should be Robert Williams and Mitchell Robinson. At 44, there’s bound to be a talented SG or SF that slips. My dream scenario would be for Jacob Evans or Josh Okogie to be available, but that probably won’t be the case, so I think they should take a look at Alkins and Trier from Arizona.

        Reading is fundamental.

Side note: Can we all agree that flopping is now an NBA fundamental skill? That and mastering your very own "confused face" when a call goes against you.

Mitchell Robinson is a PERFECT fit for the Lakers.  Or, in other words, if Crazy Mitch can’t look good in pick and rolls with Lonzo Ball then it’s just not meant to be.

     Cavs need Kawhi.

8 and players/contracts to the Spurs could work.

LeBron needs help on defense and another ace scorer.

Why seems fair CJ is a great player and covington is an okay player and those 2 picks prolly wont be in NBA in 2 years.

Just looked at the last 10 10th picks, CJ himself was one of them, and not a single one was out of the NBA in 2 years.

If they trade for CJ and his huge contract it’s doubtful they could sign a max free agent.

I rather have Covington, Mikal Bridges and the cap space to make a run at PG13.

Im indecisive on either taking 1a) Huerter or 1b) Divencenzo and adding to our depth and shooting at the guard spots allowing us to move alec burks. Or taking a swing at Omari Spellman and letting him develop for a season or two. If he really turns into a tt with a jump shot type thats quite the asset to have.

Ideally, I’d love to see the Nuggets trade up for MPJ, for #14, Hernangomez and 2019 1st. Then in the 2nd trade 43 and 58 to moveup for KBD

I’d trade back if I was the Sixers…

    If Mikal Bridges isn’t available…

I’m trying to trade back enough to unload Jerryd Bayless contract and still grab Donte Divincenzo, before anyone else.

I love Donte’s game just like it seems like a lot of people do.  Lonnie Walker also would be a nice pickup.  But yeah, trade back offload Bayless, resign Reddick and Bellinelli with the money saved, and bring in the King.

    2. JJJ falls to 7

    3. MPJR if top 2 are off the board

    4. Mikal Bridges if top 3 are off the board. Bridges should be available, I really prefer they take him over Wendell Carter

Please no Trae Young or Collin Sexton!
