torontoraptors10ParticipantGreatest dunker ever.
Greatest Raptor ever.
I wonder what would be the state of the Raptors if T-Mac and VC stayed and they both put 100%

HobbyOGParticipantLets be honest, no one wants to play in Toronto..They will never be able to keep a star player in Toronto..They should move the Raptors to Vegas, ST. Louis, Seattle, etc..

aamir543ParticipantMy god this guy could fly! I forgot how exciting he was to watch. I hope he accepts a bench or limited role and comes off the bench for a contender, and wins a tittle.

NJHooper95ParticipantVince is the best dunker the NBA has seen. The Tmac and Vince thing could have worked, but Vince would not allow it. Tmac called himself scottie, he was willing to take that role, Vince seemed threatned and never really embraced Tmac for them to be so called cousins. In the playoffs against NY Vince was repeatdly seen yelling or criticizing to Tmac for a play. Oh yeah they lost that series.
Could have been the next Mike and Scottie. Dont blast me for that one guys.

torontoraptors10Participant"Lets be honest, no one wants to play in Toronto..They will never be able to keep a star player in Toronto..They should move the Raptors to Vegas, ST. Louis, Seattle, etc.."
Why would Toronto, a city with 5 million people and a metropolitan city with one of the biggest diverse communities in the world would want to move to St.Louis/Seattle/Vegas? Can you PLEASE explain your logic? Toronto has one of the best nightlifes and daylifes in most major cities. Eric Gordon the other day was saying how he loves Toronto and celebrities love it here too. I’m pretty sure they’d love to spend more time here than in St.Louis. Not to mention we rank with NY, LA and Chicago too. So please get your facts straight and some contributing to the American stereotype.
And oh yeah, the Canadian dollar is higher than the US Dollar.
@magikknick
Fact is fact, he put Toronto on the map in terms of basketball. You can’t deny what he did for the city. Why do we boo him? Maybe because he openly admitted that he never gave 100% in Toronto and supposdely tipped off the Seattle Supersonics about one of Toronto’s plays. He got his mom to defend him when the media used to attack him. I don’t know how old you are, but here is an old video about why we don’t like him:

M-DYMESParticipantFrederick Wiess should be happy that happened to him. The only reason we still remember his name is because Vince laid his cock on his forehead and knighted him.

iguapops420ParticipantFunny NJ Hoops, whenever I say that T-Mac was a Superhuman version of Scottie Pippen, i usually end up with negatives, but no one realizes that Mac himself did in fact say he was a Pippen and very much embraced that role. Thank you for also pointing that out.
Shawn Kemp and VC. 2 best in game dunkers of all time.

MCRIZZParticipantJust saying..
“The misnomer that you are in Canada and not in the States is totally misplaced,’’ new coach Dwane Casey. “Because it’s a great sports city. I can’t imagine if you turn the program around how exciting it would be. It’s a melting pot for anybody. But a lot of times players just come there in the dead of winter and don’t really get a taste of the city. That’s one thing that’s going to be our mission, is to try to change that image and go back to my recruiting days at Kentucky, and try to recruit.’’

MCRIZZParticipantDemar Derozan is one of the top young sg in the league right now…sure he is not VC or tmac but I want to point out a few numbers:
Vince at age 21: 18.3 / 5.7 / 3.0
Demar at age 21: 17.2 / 3.8 / 1.8
Tmac at age 21: 15.4 / 6.3 / 3.3
Ok so he is not as good of a rebounder or overall complete player yet…. but demar at the same age as those other 2 has shown he can score and with the dunk contest shows he could hang (one of the best dunk comp players not to win)…not to mention is a hard worker and an overall great kid….
I guess my point is we can look back at what could have been or we can look forward to the future of demar ed davis big val a top pick this upcoming season and alot of cap room coming out of the lockout

Anton123ParticipantDeMar is nothing close a dunker VC used to be. I think the only guy that came close to VC’s level in dunking was J-Rich with the Warriors, I mean he did do some nasty stuff back then.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantA backcourt of Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady (both playing 100%) would have been scarier than the backcourt of LeBron and Wade.
