GlenTaylorSucksParticipantWatch this gem of a clip from the Wolves-Heat game yesterday. Fantastic. Sums up the Wolves season in a nutshell, haha. My favorite part has to be what Chris Bosh does after the rebound. I guarantee this will rank on the "Not Top 10" list next week on ESPN.

M-DYMESParticipantAs a T-Wolves fan I’ve come to expect to see some dumb basketball, but that just takes the cake. Wow. And Bosh lol. You are suppose to be a damn near "superstar" player and you damn near through the ball out of bounds. Lucky for you LBJ knows what to do, rip the ball out of your foolish hands.
Thats just awful. Rambis is just like yup, my team f-in blows.

PlatypusParticipantYou cant blame Rambis, look at the talent he has to deal with

NbanflguyParticipantRambis doesnt have that bad of talent. There are some good pieces on the wolves

M-DYMESParticipantThe Wolves have talent. They just need talent with leadership and some more vets. This team is so young, but the core does have potential. Someone needs to take the face of this franchise. I’d like to see Love try but I don’t think its in his blood to be that guy. We also need to learn how to play D or get some playes in there who know how to. And as far as the triangle goes, it doesn’t seem like we are operating a trinagle offense yet and I dont see us effectively down the road. Ditch the scheme and build a new scheme around the core of Love, Johnson, Beasley, Randolph…etc. Fit their needs.

ilike.panochasParticipantThe Wolves has good young talent, but Rambis fails to utilize their strengths and tries to mold his players to fit his system, INSTEAD OF moulding his system to better utilize his players (ex.Jonny Flynn).

BiggysmallsParticipantWhat kind of system would you use to maximize the talent out of Jonny Flynn? Cherrypicking? Cuz the guy can’t play defense, he can’t shoot, he doesn’t have good court awareness, he’s 6 ft tall. What system would maximize his "talent"
The Wolves do have guys who have "potential" and in a lot of their games will stick with teams for about 42 to 44 minutes. They just get in 1 or 2 stretches a game where they turn the ball over 2 or 3 times in a row and compound it with their inability to get any stops defensively.
I don’t think Rambis is the right coach for this team either, but its not because of his systems…its his personality and lack of defensive prioritizing. He was brought up coaching under Phil Jackson, who has an incredibly laid back persona on the bench, and that works with a veteren laiden team that can work out most of the problems on their own. The Timberwolves, while they do have potential, do not have that ability right now, and they need a coach who will rattle the cage and not allow 12- 0 runs in a tie game.
If this team can land a guy like Harrison Barnes in the draft, and if Rubio can come in and be close to what people expect of him, this team could definitly make noise in the coming years.

Dr.RedParticipantThe wolves mos def have some talented young pieces. Do they have a superstar? I don’t know. I think Love is a great 2nd or 3rd option, but he is not a superstar. Beasley can score, but I doubt he’ll ever be a good defender. Randolph is an enigma…some days he looks like he has all the tools to be a superstar, then he looks lost at other times. Wes Johnson is a good versatile wing, but he lacks good hadles and is not a 2-guard. This team has 1 shooting guard – Wayne Ellington. Luke is made to be a back-up, not a starter. Darko has proven he can be a rotational player, but is no starter either. I think Rambis should have spent the whole second half of the season trying to develop the young guys, but didn’t. There is no player development happening on this team. Flynn has played well at times, but loses minutes in favor of 30-year old Luke…? This makes no sense to me!
What is this team trying to do? I seriously do not think Rubio is going to be the answer, either. Who is going to be this teams closer? Who is the superstar? Plus, why does Rambis have a 12-man rotation? I’d rather he play 8-9 guys in a standard rotation. This team has to pick a core and move forward with who is going to be their heavy minute guys and establish the rest as rotation/bench guys.
Firing Kahn would be a step in the right direction, unless people truly believe he is a genius in disguise. But, I mean… Darko the next Divac or C-Webb? Rubio and Flynn similar to Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars? Really? Why was everyone else more than willing to let Darko go back to Europe? Why did Rubio fall to 5 if he was a franchise-saving point guard? Why do you draft 3 point guards in one draft? Then follow that up with 3 SF in the next? Not to mention, he also signed Sessions one year and Ridnour the next, and traded for an additional SF. This team has 3 PF, 2 C, 4 SF, 3 PG, and 1 SG…how do you assemble a team like this and expect them to be able to compete?
