Now most of these "promises" to players by teams are just rumors, but I have heard that the Lakers promise to Julyan Stone ws legit. Well they broke their "promise" and they had 4 picks late in the second to get him! I no longer trust NBA front office personels.

I’m surprised the Lakers didn’t bite on Selby with one of their two opportunities in the second round. He’s Shannon Brown with more upside.

How much sense would it have made if the lakers took Stone after drafting Morris? Both player are almost they same player its just Morris passes the ball better than Stone….I’ve never believed we would promiss Stone because Selby would be available at 41.

They were RUMORS..so you don’t know if that was true..I doubt they would promise a guy and draft a guy who avg .7 pts a game in the D-League last year..and I DOUBT the lakers care if you respect them or not..
