The Scare Crow RisesParticipantWizards send Bradley Beal to Philadelphia for Jahlil Okafor/Nik Stauskas + Lakers’ pick in 17′(top 3 protected)/76ers’ pick in 18′ (unprotected) and the rights to Furkan Korkmaz
Washington adds a talented low post scorer in Jahlil, another draft pick in this year’s draft class (they look like a lottery team themselves IMO), another Unprotected pick from the 76ers in next year’s draft, draft and stash player Korkmaz and Nik Stauskas as a throw away former lotto pick…
Wall gets some youth to surround himself with to go forward (Washington adds assets in case Wall wants out anyway)
Philadelphia adds Beal to a lineup that would ideally draft their PG of the future this year (Top 5)
One with Beal+Ben Simmons/Saric/Embiid is a damn fine lineup, Noel could be brought back to play backup C to JoJo, I’d take that over another year of Jahlil and another lottery pick from LA

i’m jus so offendedParticipantATROCIOUS for Philly. Okafor and a top 10 pick in this draft are more valuable assets than Beal individually, let alone combined together for just Beal.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI have it falling in the 11-16 range, making this trade Okafor and the 11th pick plus Stauskas/Korkmaz and another pick in next year’s Draft
I think that’s a fair price for a Great Young SG (albeit an injury prone one)
Beal at SG next to a Top 3 PG in the Draft (Smith or Ball) would give us a great backcourt to go along with a front court of Simmons/Saric/Embiid/Noel/Ilyasova/Covington
Sergio Rodriguez and Gerald Henderson can help off the bench along with Jerryd Bayless
Okafor isn’t our future Center, that’s Joel’s spot to lose, with Noel as a solid backup C that can actually run with Simmons and Saric SF and PF…May as well bite the bullet and involve him in a deal to land a potential All Star SG in Beal

SubZeroParticipantGiving up your pick next year would be very ballsy. They’d have to be banking on them making a big improvement because I don’t think that trade is worth it if that ends up being a top 5, or even top 10 pick

The GoatParticipantI think you are barking up the right tree. Philly still would like to move a big. Could be two teams that could work on a deal.
The Wiz are a bit of a puzzle. Something is not right with John Wall. His game is great but he doesn’t seem happy, recent ejection was a bit unusual, have heard chatter about not getting along with Beal, yadayada… In sho rt, I think if the they keep losing and he isn’t going to want to waste his best years there.

nath09ParticipantI like the bones of the trade: Okafor and Beal. The two teams would have to work hard to make it work with the 76ers reluctance to commit to to tie up any salary cap space.
Okafor’s start to the season along with Embiid’s stellar start to his career does not help the 76ers in any negotiations but I think Beal is a player worth using some assets to aquire if they are interested in obtaining him.

JordoParticipantWAS doesn’t have the balls to trade Beal even though he’s notoriously injury prone now and hasn’t even looked like half a max player(small sample size, I know) . PHI doesn’t have it in them attempt to move forward in their long lasting rebuild if they can get another top pick again. Beal doesn’t make them much better anyway.

binetParticipantYour trade idea is outrageously overvaluing Bradley Beal, whose value is close to Philly pick this year (with Sac swap), not more. Certainly more than Okafor alone though.
John Wall is older, is a free agent in 2 years and begins to be fed up with the team and teamates.
He has way more value as a proven all star so Philly could end up offering a package close to yours (without their 2018 pick though) or having offers from Boston and such…
Wizards should start to think about rebuilding and this means trading Wall.
Wall also is injury-prone and his value should decrease overtime.
Wall also has position similarities with 70% of the top draft prospects as of right now as a PG.
Philly has so many assets that trading 1+1 with a young big + a top pick for Wall does make sense.

vulture711ParticipantToo much for a guy who spends a lot of time on the injured list. I’d rather a modest trade for Kelly Oubre

binetParticipantKelly Oubre is a bad prospect. Guy is clearly one of the direct targets of Gortat rant abut bench being subpar to abismal. The guy is years away from being a relevant NBA player, and I would not bet on him to ever be a star even when he pans out. That’s pretty much the kind of players Philly should not look for right now. Just like they traded Jerami Grant. That was a good to very good decisions. There are only so many "prospects slots" on a roster and Philly has already more than enough.
Philly is almost certainly drafting a wing prospect this summer with one of their two 1st round picks (assuming LA pick conveys this time), with already Luwawu, incoming Furkan Korkmaz and Stauskas as developping wing prospects who are not clearly worse than Oubre, even talking about potential.
Kelly Oubre also seem like one of the only prospects Washington is building upon right now, when their results so far shows that they should probably start to think about rebuilding. The logic is more on Washington to keep developping him as one of their few young talents while rebuilding.

MatosParticipantPull the trigger on any trade involving Okafor and/or Noel for Beal as long as no first round picks are included. Brad Beal is only 23 years old. To put that in perspective, Joel Embiid is 22 years old. This is a no brainer if they can trade current players on their roster without picks its a major win. Sure he has a big contract but again, he’s 22 and they’re currently below the floor. Squad would look nice for next couple years:
PG – Ball/Smith/Fox/Fultz
SG – Beal
SF – Jayson Tatum/Jonathan Isaac (Lakers pick)
PF – Simmons
C -EmbiidSaric
Holmes
Rodriguez
TLC
Bayless

220Participantthat’s way too much to give up for an injury prone player. The 76ers would be massively overpaying.
