blackflash234ParticipantWhen You Go to any of the college and international prospect profiles and you look at the ratings part, how come its that no one’s ball handling and passing has ever been a 10. Like I’ve looked at a ton of prospect profiles but not one 10 on ball handling or passing for any prospect ever once this profile thing started in the 2006 with that draft. You can find 10’s for things like a specific prospects athleticism. Someone answer my question?

tuck243ParticipantIts hard to give someone a 10 on passing when top players don’t or didn’t average more than 5 assists in college… Chris Paul, J-Kidd, nor Deron Williams… So you can’t justify giving a player a 10 because it might not translate to the Pro level…. Same with ball handles… If they commit to many turnovers will you say someone has handle on the ball?

jorrye24Brandon Jennings should have a 10 (if he doesnt), and John Wall should have higher than a 7 or whatever he has in ball handling. Jennings should also have a 10 in passing.

tuck243ParticipantAnd Brandon don’t average 3 dimes a game in Rome… I don’t know if you can say its a 10… Bassy had similar great passing skills at that age but is barely averaging 5 apg STARTING… Don’t think that is a 10 passing…. I feel like they should only get those numbers IF they blow you out of the water with their numbers…. And neither has yet to do that….

Evan_MilbergParticipantTuck, the reason why Jennings doesn’t average 3 dimes in Rome has to do with how different the game is overseas. Jennings isn’t asked to do more than not make mistakes and shoot the ball well, so his stats are misleading. Playing time is also handed out differently overseas, and Jennings doesn’t get enough PT to put up inflated numbers. I agree that his passing shouldn’t be rated a 10, but not because of his stats.
