Okay, I know that Rodman would never come to the Utah Jazz. If somehow he ended up in Utah and he was willing to play for the Jazz what would the line-up be? Could Malone start at center and Rodman at power forward or Ostertag at center, Malone at power forward, and Rodman at small forward? Or Rodman coming off the bench(but he is too good to come off the bench)? So the real question is if Rodman played for the Jazz would he start at power forward(with Malone at center) or at small forward(with Malone at power forward and Ostertag at center)?

Rodman would have to come off the bench because you can’t put Malone at center and expect him to guard David Robinson, Shaq, Hakeem and other great centers in the 90’s, you can probably get away with it today but not back in the 90’s where Centers ruled the game.

Start Rodman at small forward I guess…Bryon Russell off the bench

He would have played the Paul Millsap role, playing 27 minutes per game off the bench and fitting in nicely with either Malone or Ostertag (as Millsap did with Boozer and Okur) due to his toughness and athleticism.

Dennis Rodman could guard some 2’s and 3’s so I would have him play 3 and then utlilize his board skills plus he was not a terrible shooter and actually made a decent amount of 15 footers back in his bad boy days.

he could defenitely defend the 3 spot. But he was an absolutle awful shooter so i disagree with you big time there sheltwon.

He would rebound his ass off in the mile high city, but with the lack of an offensive game the worm would have to come of the bench. he could still get significant minutes but playing 4 on 5 on offense is not the best way to start a game.
