Warning, this will sound whacky at first so I want you to put your half-glass-full hat on.

I’ve come under a lot of criticism for previous breakaway league proposals but I’ve learned from my mistakes. This time, I’m turning it over to the people to help me get this damned thing off the ground.

Hypes Guarantee: If this thing blows up and makes millions, I’ll give adequete compensation for any ideas on this forum that make it to the final game.

Introducing: The NBA Cruiserweight League.

All players on the court must be 6’3 or shorter and 3 must be 6’1 or shorter.

 

Now I know what you’re thinking. This league already exists. Its called the Philippines.

But I watch a lot of International ball, and the guys that dominate are always Tyler Ulis/Isiah Thomas types. These are the guys I want in my league.

I want to remove interior defense and get athletes in there.

I also have new rules. No fouling out. But if you foul on any possession, you sit out the remainder of the play. Normal 2 shot rules apply. 

Now I realise the chance of any pro league surviving in America is slim. They allllll fail. But these smaller guys that tear it up at NCAA level are entertaining and skilled.

Plus its a realistic goal for 99% of the population who dont have 6’5" genetics.

It would be huge in Asia and I think Americans would also love it. Being affiliated with the NBA alongside Summer League would be great!

Tell me what you think of my idea and feel free to suggest any ideas that would improve the product.

Don’t let yourself be indoctrinated by the ways of Amatuerism and Professional monopolies that exist.

Its not lame in boxing or mma and those guys are more manly than any of us.

The quality would be high. Imagine a guy like Nate Robinson in a league like that.
