Not sure how much of a draft prospect he is at this point but definitely a college player to keep an eye on. Old school throwback type of big who would seem more at place playing in the 80s or 90s. He’s a 7-1 guy who actually knows how to use his size to his advantage. He doesn’t do anything spectacular but is incredibly effective on the floor. Excellent footwork and feel in the post. Great hands and soft touch. Knows how to time his rolls to the basket and can catch passes and finish in traffic. He has been the centerpiece of a remarkably successful Michigan team so far and he still has a ton of room to grow. He is still growing into his body physically and will undoubtedly get stronger as he spends more time in the weight room, he is kind of scary considering how physically dominant he already has proven to be at the college level.
Dickinson doesn’t really fit the trend of where the nba is going. He doesn’t have much of a perimeter game, isn’t particularly mobile or athletic and struggles to defend in space. There’s a good chance he could be a 3-4 year college player unless he gets positive feedback from scouts. However, he’s a guy that could be a terror for big ten opponents to deal with for awhile.

He reminds me of former Kentucky center Josh Harrellson. Harrellson spent a couple of years in the nba. Dickerson is a little farther along than Harrellson was at the same stage. I n high school he showed he had range out to the 3 point range.

He should at least be Mocked in the 2nd Round of the 2022 Draft but hey, this site won’t even mock the College Player of the Year, Iowa Center Luka Garza, to get Drafted in June, so not surprised.
