Michael.S.ParticipantOn espn and other sources it is said that wizards and suns are willing to make a deal on the wizards trading their pick and another unconfirmed player maybe butler to the suns for Amare Stoudamire and their pick .I would love this for both squads cuz magine RUBIO REPLACING NASH or GRIFFIN REPLACING AMARE,and magine arenas, butler and OR jamison, and stoudemire on the wiz. What u think???

TravelinTravParticipantThe idea sounds perfect, swapping old talent for young and upcoming talent. It could and should help both teams, however you can’t really speculate too much until the lotto. Rarely does the team with the best chance end up winning the lotto. I wouldn’t be surprised if NY or Memphis end up with the first overall pick.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantSuns are actually smart if they get that first pickand get a guy like griffin and with the 14th pick if not higher get a Guy like Johnny Flynn They Can Be Real Contenders in Few Years…But I would love to see nash play with griffin…….But as it goes with the wizards 4 stars sounds like a controversy….they are all scorers and amare lacks defence and rebounds for his size so cuttin down his point production might just limit him to 16 ppg and 7 rebounds…..and he will be missing nas alot….gilbert isn’t that good running the floor at a fast pace

D HampParticipantWe debated this to deaf two days ago.
D Hamp is the greatest basketball thinker in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

until23ParticipantI dont see the wizards trading Caron, they are crazy about him, maybe jamison, then amare can play PF where he will surely be an all star. With that 15th pick the Wiz select Ty Lawson (perfect insurance for Gilbert’s knee). The suns will continue to struggle, I dont see this being a solution for them. I don’t think Blake will be a better PF than Amare and running the show at PG usually takes a year or two of experience so who knows how great Rubio will be his first year. I would rather see the Wiz get a proven young all star then a rookie. This is all specualtion I’ll believe it when I see it. I can’t wait for May 19th!!!!!

Michael.S.ParticipantI don’t think Blake will be a better PF than Amare either.Amares taller, stronger, and can step out to the 3pt line when he has to.But Rubio can end up being 1 of the greatest points ever

Untouchable JParticipantAll depends on the lottery and who the unconfirmed player is.
If i’m the Wiz and the player is Butler, i’ll make the trade if we have a pick 4 and down. 1-3, nope, I’ll take Thabeet, Griffin, or Rubio
If the player is Jamison, I’ll make the trade if we have anything but the #1 pick.
