TyroberParticipantWhy would he keep it a secret? Is he just trying to piss his fans off? Not sure if he knows it or not, but he has a lot of fans in Houston, LA, Golden State, Dallas, and Atlanta and making this suspenseful for all of them when 4 of those places are going to be upset when he chooses somewhere else.

WITNESS2014ParticipantIf I were him I would not be secretive about all this stuff. With all the fans he lost over they way he did things in Orlando you think he would handle this the best way possible. The only way to silence the haters is to win, so he needs to go where the best chances of him winning are.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipant“According to a person with knowledge of the situation, the Warriors have been given indications within the last day that the Houston Rockets are the strong favorite to land Howard.”
Multiple teams in Dwightstakes, I’m told, FEAR Houston is winning the race – Marc Stein
Something tells me it’s still Houston…

Sewok15ParticipantHe is probably pissing off other free agents like Andre Igoudala and the likes more than the fans at this point.

WarblingSpamalopeParticipantI don’t understand why all these GM’s and franchise’s lick his boots. I understand he is the top center in the league. But, when has someone with zero mental fortitude won a title. Can you imagine a close game in the finals and they start hacking him? Or when the media starts crushing him for mistakes made in the playoffs. Are you going to pull him in tight playoff games? 20 mil for a regular season star.

Ghost01ParticipantI think its pretty much come down to either he’s going to Houston, or if the Lakers can agree to take Bogut and Barnes for him in a S/T then I guess that could be alive too.
Its tough, because on one hand I don’t think he is just banking on that move happening, but on the other the Warriors seem to be trying darn hard to make it happen.
