The8thDeadlySinParticipantNot a Lakers fan BUT, the Bulls went 0-8 the year they set the recond for the most wins in a season and won a championship..

F_S mocknew system. no dwight howard. new PG, clashing team captains learning how to play off each other. etc etc
…the heat started 9-8 their first year then quickly picked it up.
no1 should panic about the 0-6 start, not a bit!

SiggyParticipantThis and benches play a lot in preseason. The Lakers’ bench sucks. Also, Mike Brown still can’t coach. His inability to make in game adjustments is pathetic.

TyroberParticipant0-6 in preseason means absolutely nothing. If it was 0-6 in the regular season I would be worried.

HitsterParticipantThe Spurs went 2-8 in one of the pre-season’s they won a title. I think it is quite funny but lets see the Lakers start to the regular season.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThe preseason means different things to different players and teams. Heck, the regular season means different things to different players and teams. If a rookie or an unestablished player shoots 28 percent in the preseason, you can be worried. They have not built up the equity necessary to be forgiven for being bad. When Antawn Jamison shoots 28 percent, you can look at a career 19-8 performer who averaged 17.5 points per game last year and then also a recent history of poor shooting preseasons (32%, 21.1%, 37%, 34%, 28%) to realize it just isn’t a big deal. It probably means he doesn’t shoot much in the offseason anymore. The same goes for Steve Nash’s turnovers, and pitiful defense all around. I do not believe Steve Nash is suddenly going to be trainwreck with the basketball. Also, while it is nice when a team like the Bulls try defensively in the preseason, but it really does not matter a whole lot when a team with a track record of doing so when needed fails to do so.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantPreseason, Bench playing a lot. Good team don’t care much about losing in the preseason

NCarmean18ParticipantStarting off 0-6 really isn’t an issue at all. I mean, it is only the preseason, right? The Lakers have some work to do. Their bench isn’t that great, although I think it is improved over last year’s bench. Also, all of these fresh faces haven’t built any chemistry yet, so it’s hard for them to mesh right away.
The Lakers will be fine during the regular season. There’s no reason to worry at all.
