 This has annoyed me for ages. Durant is listed at 6’9 which he is obiviously taller. However, how tall is he? It has just been eating at me and I am just so curious. Anyone?

 I would say 6’11" or 7’ft. cuz he’s alot taller then half his OKC Team, Hell He look’d taller then everybody in the AllStar game beside Gasol, Hibbert and Bynum.

 he was listed at 6"10.75′ as a 19-year old at the combine so i would not be surprised if he were 6"11.25-50′ by now. another guy who i feel is obviously taller then hes listed is jeremy lamb.. i would not be surprised is measured in at 6"6.5 in shoes at the combine atleast.

 I say 6’11-7’0.

I swear I was about to make this topic, on saturday night during the 3pt contest, after Durant went to Ibaka gave him a five and was about 2-3 inches taller than him, and then seen him giving Kevin Love play who is 6’9.75 in shoes and looked to be about 2-3 inches taller than him as well.

It’s crazy how fluid he is to be that big, I know he doesn’t weigh much, but god gave him a gift.

By Draftexpress.com he measured at 6’9 barefoot and 6’10.25 with shoes at 19.

 

I’m estimating based on looking at him next to other players that by now at the age of 23 that he is about 6’11 in shoes.

 

But its funny how some players are listed based on there barefoot height while others are listed way above there actual heights on nba.com.

 

Another 2 player who looks way taller than they say are Shaq and Kevin Garnett.

Looks like shaq barefoot is 7’1 and with shoes close to 7’3. He always seemed alot taller than other 7’0 centers.

and Garnett is a legit 7’0 and so is Duncan.

When Durant and Dwight met up before the celebrity game Durant looked like he was taller then Dwight at times. So that’s why I say 6’11+

Hollinger (or was it Thorpe?) recently said Dwight is really only 6’10, but his reach makes him seem much taller.

 yeah Dwight is not a seen footer.When he got drafted he was 6’9 and he was 18 so he may have grown an inch and hit 6’10 but anything pass that is stretching it. I would also say KD has maybe hit 6’10 barefoot as well.but that 7’5 wingspan is what makes him look taller and being so slim.

 Speaking of height of players in the 3 point shoot out, how tall is Anthony Morrow?  He is listed at 6’5 but he looked the same height as Love who is probably 6’8.  If Morrow was 6’8 he would be coveted…

I feel like I always hear players and analyst calling him a 7 footer. If he really is 7 feet tall, has there ever been a player that tall who can play like a dominant guard? Really makes me think Durant will be an all time great.

8th, clean you’re eye lenses, Morrow is definatly not 6’8, he’s probably 6’6, but not 6’8.

And It’s funny how just the other day I was thinking about how dominant a 7’0 wing player would be. And whenever Durant crossed my mind I kept thinking he was 6’10 with a crazy reach, but with he being so tall and his rach being so tall, he should be getting more boards, but he’s probably 6’10.75, we’ll just say 6’11.

 thanks for the help guys. I also hear commentators refer to him as a 7 footer, just wasn’t sure too sure. I forgot he is only 23. Current scoring champion two years in a row, has got his young thunder team sitting with equal best record in the league. And to think he is 7 foot.

I believe Durants a legit 6’11” he’s just don’t have proper posture so it seems he’s shorter than he is as he seems to always be slouching and not standing straigh

 Its not just me that sees this I hope but when he goes up for a dunk in traffic… It almost looks like he goes up even higher because of his long arms. Like he goes up and just when it looks like he’s about to lay it in, he stretches his arms out and throws one down. Its unbelievable and it fools me everytime. Not to mention he’s such a pure shooter.. Can you imagine if they made a trade for Ray Allen too??? Westbrook would be in point guard heaven having all those shooters on the team!
