Scott42444ParticipantRookies seem to make a more significant impact in the NBA lately than they have in the past, with some of the younger players in the NBA also reaching elite status very quickly (Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose youngest MVP ever, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, even Kyrie Irving).
How many All-Stars will be from this upcoming draft? Harder to gauge and also more fun to guess, who do you think those players will be? Any late rounders you can see being just studs out of the gate? Any guys who will end up like a Tyson Chandler and take a decade to really flourish?
I think there will be 5 future All-Stars from this draft. Anthony Davis and Thomas Robinson are the only two I feel very strongly about. Heck, I could see a Wil Barton making an All-Star team one day or being a flop. I have no idea how to gauge a draft that is so deep. Kris Middleton was projected as the 2nd best SG prospect in the draft a year ago but is a 2nd round pick on the latest mock. The last pick of the draft last year showed off an amazing skill set for Sacramento this year. What are your guesses? Can a guy like Perry Jones realize his talent even though it is pretty rare for a guy to "get it" in the NBA when he can’t seem to put it together at a school like Baylor. Same with Quincy Miller. But, would it be a shock if Perry Jones III was on the 2018 All-Star team?

MagikKnickParticipantHard to gauge really
I think Anthony Davis is the only perennial all-star in this draft
But i think guys like MKG, Robinson, Drummond, Barnes, Rivers, and Marshall might get a couple of appearances throughout their careers

For_Never_EverParticipantI think Jeremy Lamb, can be an All Star since Rip Hamilton, has been one. He’s a better ball handler and is athlete that rip never was.

Scott42444Participant…I just don’t see dominant anywhere in his game. At least with guys like Bynum who were raw he is elite in the height department

larryfiskenParticipantDrummond is elite in regards to the athleticism department….
