losnopesosParticipantSkal Labissiere’s line tonight: 0 pts, 0 rebs, 0 asst, 0 steals 5 fouls 13 minutes.
I don’t think you can have a game this bad if you’re ready for the league. Red flag he needs to stay.

Gold ChainLet’s see, become an instant millionaire as a top 20 pick, or take African American Studies 102, Introduction to Math Concepts, and Volleyball 101.

Memphis MadnessParticipantSkal is what? 6’10? 7 feet? Volleyball might actually be his sport.

Hype MachineOverhypped since the hoops summit.
I had him at the end of my mock draft lottery last week.
Was that too high?
People were defending him based on ‘potential’

TarHeelRavenParticipantAs of right now, in my opinion, Skal would not last 2 minutes in an NBA game…

EspressoParticipantOh boy, i would be one of those saying I told you he wasnt that good had i not changed my mind during his first couple of games where he was dropping 17ppg 5rpg and 2bpg.
I said preseason that all he can really do is shoot open jumpers and bring it down the court against no defense at a minimal speed, but people would say he had the handles to start a fast break.

EspressoParticipantI want to add that I hav still not given up on him due to his play at the beggining of the season, I was impressed by the potential he showed hitting turnaround jumpers and skying for blocks albeit him not looking for contact.
Calipari will have to work some magic on this kid, he should stop forcimg Skal to post up, hes just not that type of player. Encourage him to play out in the perimeter and take jumpers, even threes. Cal needs stop going into national media and telling them that Skal wants to shoot it but he will teach him how to play inside. "Like he did with KAT". Well, KAT and Skal and different players and KaT was a behemoth which gave him the "big KAT" nickname. Skal is not anywhere near as big while showing a shooting touch so early in the season which KAT and even Davis could not.
