The Knicks want Tony Parker, and honestly, I think there is a pretty decent chance it could happen.
Joe Johnson has yet to sign the dotted line on the deal with ATL because he is intrigued about NY or Chicago.

How good do you think those 2 would be teamed up with Amare?

I think a Parker/Johnson/Stoudemire trio would be pretty good, 4 or 5 seed in the East at a minimum depending on where other FA’s go.

That would be interesting to see. I don’t know how good the odds are Johnson comes but That’s a legit playoff team.

Solid team but they need a true #1 option, Joe can be that but he’s more of a sidekick, Parker can penetrate and dump to Amar’e and kick to Joe and Gallo, run the break with Chandler and Walker, I like this sqaud but add Carmelo next year and a BIG then they’d be title contenders

How do they compare to Rondo-Pierce-Garnett? Maybe Gallo can play Ray Allen’s role..

I think Joe Johnson would be a good #1 option since he has Stoudemire and Parker to take pressure off of him.. He obviously can’t do it alone but he is still a very good scorer.

The reason those players make such a great team is because they are great on the offensive end, but above all their defense together is superb, and that is something you will not get from Amare, Parker, Johnson, and certainly not from playing Mike’s run and gun style.

In order for the Knicks to get Tony Parker, they would probably have to trade David Lee but a trio of Parker, Johnson, and Stoudemire would e very good and I certainly think that they could make a deep playoff run.

I’ve been proposing this for weeks about Parker for chandler, curry,& future 1st, & I always had Amare in there But I would Sub JJ for lebron If they sign him, if not JJ would be perfect for that trio.

    Chandler…?
    Curry..LOL
1st Pick? What year will that be? 2015? (:
Greg P. already told Tony P. that he isn’t going anywhere…
Knicks would have to offer up Gallo…& then Curry, them Spurs love that international young talent & Gallo is just that.

Last I heard Tony Parker is under contract with the Spurs. If he did get traded to the Knicks, I think the Knicks would have to give up something good and right now they don’t have much to give up. Like the guy above, I would think any deal would have to include Gallo. I like what Chandler can do, but not sure how well he fits with the Spurs and the Spurs are still in win now mode. I think Gallo is a guy that could actually come in and give the Spurs what they thought they could get out of Richard Jefferson.
