HaleParticipantThis just randomly came to me while I was mowing the lawn…
How good would:
Shaq be if he were 6’9?
Durant if he were 6’6?
Nate Robinson if he were 6′?
DeJuan Blair if he were 6’10?
Magic Johnson if he was 6’3?
Larry Bird if he was 6’6?
Barkley if he was 6’10?
Last one: Who would be the best player (in their prime) 6’4 Iverson, 6’4 Kobe, or 6’4 LeBron?
You can add your own if you’d like, these were the only ones that popped into my head.

Bill Walton’s KneesParticipantWhat if Greg Oden could stay healthy?

Tune SquadParticipantThe bitter pill to swallow is always "how good would any of us be" if we were 6’10"???
To answer your question though… Of course guys like Bird, Magic, Durant and Barkley who were hard working, naturally skilled players would be great no matter what. Barkley especially at 6’10"..ouch!!
And I hate to admit it but probably either Kobe or Lebron. Kobe would work harder, but Lebron would just play the point and have good court vision still. 6’4" Jordan would kill them all though.

HaleParticipantHaha you have no idea how happy I’d be to be 6’10! My post game is awesome, it’s just that I’m 5’9…

Tune SquadParticipantTMac, Hill, Penny, LJ(maybe) and Zo could have been top 20-30 all time players if they had remained healthy and had lengthy careers. SOO Sad.

drk3351ParticipantYao if he was 7’0?
Cp3 if he was 6’4?
Derrick rose if he was 6’1?
Ben Gordon if he was 6’7?
its crazy how much height means in basketball
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/09/2012 - 6:56pm #668671

HaleParticipantIf Yao was 7′ (w/o foot issues) I’m guessing he probably would’ve still been an All Star for a few years. Chris Paul would be unstoppable. Derrick Rose would be something like Kevin Johnson. Ben Gordon would be at the very least a multiple time All Star and probably a top 3-7 SG.

417basketballfanParticipanthow good would’ve len bias have been in the nba if would’ve been alive?

DanEboyParticipantI always wonder how amazing Rose would be if he were LeBron’s size. With his explosiveness and will to win, it would be something.

bballjunkie09Participanthow good would…
brian scalabrine and luke walton be if they got all star minutes?

dede21I hate this because short guys are just naturally more coordinated and athletic the most extreme example think about if Muggsy Bogues was magnified to 6’6.
He would weight over 300 pounds have a 57 inch vertical run faster than Usain Bolt be the strongest man on earth he would average 48 21 14

TRC1991Participanti honestly think derrick rose being 6’1” would make little difference… he’d still be a solidly built 185 lbs with big time hops, he’d still get 19 and 7 at least

DipoTimeParticipantD-Wade is essentially a 6’4 version of LeBron.. Anybody else notice that?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/09/2012 - 10:46pm #668697

omphalosParticipantI did this on my blog a little while back, I’ll see what I can remember…
What if Westbrook was 6’6"?
What if Mayo was 6’7"?
What if Griffin was 6’11"?
What if Dwight was 7’1"?
What if Dirk was 6’10"?
What if Love was 7′?
What if Beasley was 6’7"?
What if DeMarcus Cousins was 7′?
What if Jason Terry was 6’6"?
What if Eric Gordon was 6’6"?
What if Monta Ellis was 6’6′?
Yeah, if Wade were 6’6" without losing any coordination or athleticism I think he’d definitely be better than Lebron, and would be right on the heels of Kobe Bryant as far as 2nd best SG all-time. Inch for inch, I think Wade does more with what he has than any player in the NBA; barring maybe Chris Paul.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantIf Adam Morrison would realize that he was the 3rd overall pick and was picked over players like Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay and Rajon Rondo

PulseGlazerParticipantThe best of these ever is and will always be Bill Walton. I truly think his talent would have changed everything in the 80s, especially if he stayed with Portland. That could have been a dynasty, he was better than even Moses when healthy… could he have pushed Kareem (in my opinion the second best PLAYER ever)? It’s in play, right? He was just the perfect team ballplayer. Tim Duncan’s post game and rebounding meets Kevin McHale’s defense meets Bird’s passing.

dede21omphalos: Dirk is 6’10 and Beasley is 6’7 barefoot heights
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/10/2012 - 4:20am #668748
dede21omphalos: Wade has really long arms even though he is short I think he probably has a higher standing reach than Kobe? Really because of his arms Wade has more length than most 6’6 guys

DurantsWingspanI always play 2K12 and will add 3 inches or take away 3 inches from players. It is crazy what some players would look like. Imagine a…
7’0 Josh Smith.
7’0 Kevin Durant
6’6 Derrick Rose
6’11 LeBron
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/10/2012 - 9:11am #668832

GronounoursParticipantWhat if you guys stopped drooling over imaginary players? Yes, a 6’6 Rose would be awsome… but then I create a 6’8 Paul and a 7’3 LeBron, just to screw you. What are you gonna do? What? A 7’8 Rose? Are you serious?

dede21Junkyard Yinka Dare went 99 staright games without an assist he was the worst passer in the history of basketball that is not funny mocking the dead like that.

JunkYardDogParticipant@dede21 :
really ??? what a bball IQ…. I’m amazed.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/11/2012 - 1:21am #669075

FastAndFuriousParticipantUmmm Derrick Rose technically is 6’1, that’s what he measured as barefoot and is only 6’2.5 in shoes so I don’t think an inch would make a difference with him.
