I looked up John Wall on google, and saw his player profile. I started reading one of the forums, then another one, and then I started going on this site every time I look up basketball videos on youtube.

 I was in 11th grade, and Denis Clemente had a 44 point game against Texas. I wanted to see if any draft sites had put him in their mock (lol), and I came here and saw someone had made a topic about him in the forum. So I commented. I post a little bit everyday, and then I made a new username because my old one (Jorrye24) got shut down. It became fun because most of my friends don’t watch or like basketball nearly as much as me, so I like talking the game with people that like it as much as I do.

Never was a regular forum contributor until I suppose 2008 or so. I would visit, but this site honestly started to become incredibly active once the point system was instituted, and that is what I think got me and a lot of others hooked.

The Kenyon Martin draft. I don’t remember how I found it but I would check back everyday to see if the mock draft changed and it only did like once a week so I was always dissapointed, being that the forums weren’t as active back then. I don’t post much, just read, because with all the posts, atleast one person covers what I would have said anyway.

I’ve actually been coming on this site before it was even a forum and all there was was player profile and celeb look a likes to NBA and NCAA players lol I was like 15 and would memorize who prospects were compared to in the NBA and my friend and I would test each other lol I’m 22 now….actually just decided to make a name after seeing this post. I’d been coming on here for years to check out mocks and read player comparisons, all the way back to 2003.

But for some reason it wasn’t until a little less than a year ago when I saw a forum topic asking if Brandon Knight played like Brandon Jennings that I decided to create an account and post. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into though lol.

This site goes waaaayyy beyond talking about prospective NBA players, its a community of true hoops junkies where EVERYONE learns new things. No matter how knowledgable any of us think we are, there is always something we don’t know about that someone else on here does.

Been checking this site for the last 10 years, basically was searching for mock drafts.  I’m in a dynasty fantasy basketball league and we have a minor league system in which we can draft college and high school players.  Once they enter the league we get them fairly cheap, cheaper than they would go in the draft (auction draft).  I always thought Aran had terrific mock drafts and did a good job with his comparisons.  This site always gave me a leg up against my competition during our minor league draft….although he did sell me on James White who I drafted very high when he entered his freshman year.  Damn I wish he could have developed.

 In the post Jordan era, I was clinging to the aftermath of a rebulding Bulls team with the hope of a #1 draft pick.  I was 17 at the time, trying to prep my NBA live team to add on to the 3 peat that Phil, MJ and company had laid down so getting the most info on Lamar Odom ( who I was positive the Bulls were going to draft) was a must. lol…yada yada yada…I found the site, checked up occasionally, found Yao Ming one of the most inriguing prospects ever ( 7’5” Chinese player with extreme skills) but didn’t start posting until 09′ but as a Kansan NBA fan this is virtually the only place I can talk to knowledgable NBA fans, lol.
