Tough one, but nobody ever remembers the guy that was on the bench for a championship..

in 10 years do you think anybody will know that DJ Mbenga has a ring?

So, i;d have to say the guy that average 27ppg, but couldnt get in the 2nd round..

So basically, would i rather be T-Mac or Mbenga.

I have to go with T-Mac even though my career would be tainted. At least I would have been a proven player.

Winning a championship with you do nothing, is equivalent to getting a free burger from Mc Donalds. I rather be known and have a name, lets remember Dan marino from the dolphins ( NFL) never won a super bowl ring but is still one of the best QB’s of all-time….Leaving a legecy is bigger then just getting it for free….so i would do option b

So you basically put McGrady…I’d be McGrady. That lazy eye is so cool looking to be as dominant as him. They never know which way you are going to go.

How much more money would’ve been made to be the #1 option? With those career stats, you’d prolly get the max. I know people want to say “it’s not all about money”……. but two rings? Two rings aren’t worth more than a couple of max contracts, I’m sorry. It would be an argument if you asked “Would you rather be a Robert Horry type journyman or be the franchise player”? But tenth man? You’re asking me if I want to be Sun Yue or LeBron James…

Being able to score 27 ppg in the NBA would be WAY better than winning two championships… I’d rather be Stephon Marbury than DJ Mbenga. the dude made BANK.

he’s not much of a ball player. But he is a judo blackbelt. I saw a video clip where half the Lakers had to hold him back from tearing Chris Mihm’s head off, except Adam Morrison, he just looked like he wanted to go home.

As for the question, give me 27 a night.

Hard to answer but i would say the star averaging 27 and not getting far in the playoffs because in the end not everyone wins a championship examples Charles Barkley,Karl Malone, Dominique Wilkins but people remember them for what they did and they are all going to the hall of fame even though they didnt win a championship and they made a lot of money in their time averaging those points and not winning a championship.
