Wonder what this means. Incoming Harden trade? Why do they need the cap space?

Looking at next season, this definitely improved the Sixers team. Horford was a poor fit. Now Harris can go down to be a floor spreading 4. Green is a championship level 3-D guy.
Definitely looks like some more OKC trades to happen. Adams up next? Him going to Boston would make some sense…

These trades are making OKC better as well. Paul for Oubre makes them better because they have SGA at PG. The Schroder trade led to Horford two 1sts and a 2nd. Westbrook was amazing but I think we all forgot who OKC’s MVP is. Sam Presti. Nobodys better not even Ujiri.

Sam Presti straight up playing 2K in real life, one of these crazy Youtuber rebuilds: Westbrook for Paul and picks, Paul for more picks; Schroeder for Danny and picks, Danny for more picks… If this were 2K he’d trade all those picks for Doncic next, lol

I hate the addition of Horford. He is a good player but old and freaking expensive. Adams and him make 55 mil together. Al will be 37 when his contract is up in 3 years. Adams should be traded now but they need leadership and identity and his value is low and should just keep him imo.
I get the idea that they Tank the upcoming season and because of that just gifted Ricky away but who the hell should score for them next season? Shai and Oubre are the only scorers left and Kelly should average Brandan Ingram kind of numbers if he gets his 19-20 fga which is more than likely.
Maybe Presti is finding a way to get someone like Mitchell from the Jazz for some of his picks at the deadline if Mitchell is telling the Jazz he won’t sign an extension but we’ll see. I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t go for a player in this draft who will actually play next season since Maledon might be the only one of their rookies playing.
Overall I like their drafted players and are high on Poku-Puko and Theo Maledon but how they got there is not so cool I think. The Wolves trade was also lopsided in favor of the Wolves but the agenda was clearly to shed Rubios contract and deplete the roster to suck in 20/21. mission accomplished I think. Will be interesting to see how good Maledon will be. I‘m pretty high on him and if Tony Parker is not only your team owner but also your mentor there might be something behind it.

Adams is too loved by the fan-base, getting rid of him would be a massive mistake, in viewership and ticket sales. But since it seems like they’re trying to piss the fans off as much as possible, it will probably happen.

Horford was a great pick up, I wanted him about 5 years ago, it doesn’t make much sense to have him now. As much as I griped about Rubio the other day, giving him away for a bag of chips doesn’t make sense. There’s no point in freeing up cap space when no free agents want to play in OKC.

Oubre is garbage and he’s basically the face of the team now along with SGA. Oubre will put up a lot of empty stats I’m sure, since there’s literally no one on the team who can score, but his skill level is a bench rotation player at best, and he now has reigns to a team. Sad.

Disregard the Oubre part, apparently we kicking him out the door ASAP. Praise Cthulhu!
